That reads like something from a Julia Child show.

Scrapple, also known by the Pennsylvania Dutch name panhaas or "pan rabbit," is traditionally a mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal and wheat flour, often buckwheat flour, and spices. The mush is formed into a semi-solid congealed loaf, and slices of the scrapple are then pan-fried before serving.

I was reserving judgment and keeping an open mind until...

Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, heart, liver, and other trimmings, which are boiled with any bones attached (often the entire head), to make a broth.

At that point I chickened out and said pass! :)

just think what is in those chicken nuggets yum
Take, for instance, the chicken nugget. A paper published online last month by The American Journal of Medicine looked at two nuggets from two different, unidentified national fast food chains: Each was comprised of just 50 percent or less muscle tissue, which is what we typically define as chicken, Reuters reported. The rest of the pair of nuggets was made up of a hodgepodge of pure fat, blood vessels, pieces of bone, nerves and cartilage.

all I am saying is if you should not judge something until you try it
one time I made stew for my in-laws and they ate it. I then asked how they liked it, they all said they loved it saying the beef was really good.
I then told them it was really venison all of a sudden they didn't like it and were going to be sick

So hubby is working nights this week - 3pm to 11pm. He's usually gone before we wake up. I have a whole routine for during the week - meticulously calculated to the millisecond so everyone gets where they need to be and gets there on time - but I have a feeling it is going to be severely disrupted by this change in his work schedule!!

Deep breaths.
