Funny CRV story. when they first came out (maybe 10 years ago?) my mom still had her licence, and she ended up buying one for herself. She was telling me all about it on the phone, how it had a table that pulled out of the back if you wanted to have a picnic and even an insulated compartment to keep your groceries cool. The more she talked the more we realized that my 84 year-old mother was driving around in a kegger!:hilarious:

I haven't been in it yet but it looks pretty roomy. Not bad on gas either. It's a good time of year to buy since they are trying to clear out the old and make room for the new.

We had a CRV for a few years. We looked at the RAV4 first but it didn't have much leg room in the front passenger seat. We thought the table in the back of the CRV was cool but then never used it.

I'm looking mainly to lease or get pre-owned, but its nice to look now in case I find a deal that is worth it.

Pre-owned recently off lease is such a deal. Cars depreciate so much those first few years. When I got my minivan it was just off lease with 12K miles and it was $10k less than the exact same van new. Of course, it didn't have that "new car smell" - but I got an air freshener for $2.99 and solved that.

We never buy new any more. The last new car we bought was in 2000 (and we still have that van with 200,000+ miles on it)

The car 'we' have barely has 53,000 miles and it's not sounding so great. If it makes it another year 'we' will be pleased.

In other uneventful news I have an interview tomorrow with a company I know nothing about, I think it's a scam, quite possibly a marketing ploy, but I have nothing better to do so I'm going to the interview. Who knows, maybe it'll pan out.

I'm quickly losing hope/faith that something will work out for me.

It has been many, many moons since I attended High School and I can tell you, kids have been hurtful since the beginning of time. Nothing new at all. They always head for the weakest in the herd. Sad, but, a fact of life. The trouble was we didn't have a fancy word like "bullying" to use. We had to live through it and come out the other end a better, stronger person.
