Hopefully they'll replace them with something decent. The track record is mixed: sometimes cuts are just cuts instead of changes, so it's understandable for people to assume the worst about this.

A guy just walked past my house walking two dogs, holding one leash in each hand and talking to someone using a hands-free device. OK, that's convenient, although I still think it looks funny. But then he put both dog leashes in one hand so his other hand was free for gesturing, to emphasize a point to his invisible far-off conversation partner.
