So I do not belong yet, but wanted to know why it is good to have a UY that procedes when you like to visit? Example, why is it bad to have Dec UY when you normally travel in Oct?
Thanks in advance:wave:

Because if you will typically be booking vacations within the last 4 months of your Use Year, and you have to cancel one of those vacations, you will be past your banking deadline and won't be able to bank the points into the following Use Year. You must then try to re-book before your UY ends, which could be difficult.

off-topic, but it took me a second to realize what UY meant. Reminded me of my favorite line from the play The Odd Couple, when Oscar is furious at Felix: "I hate how you leave little notes all over the apartment. 'We're all out of corn flakes, F.U.' It took me three hours to realize F.U. stood for Felix Ungar! Eh, it's not your fault, it's a rotten combination."
