Using DME after check-in / before check-out

Perhaps someone has experience in this area. Due to a last minute change in class schedules, my traveling companion will not arrive until the day after check-in and will leave several days before check-out.

1. Will she be allowed to utilize DME on the day after check-in?

2. Will it be possible to depart on DME several days before check-out?

I've searched long and hard on the internet and not found any definite answers. That's probably not a good sign.

Yes to both questions - happens all the time.

My cousin and her son meet us one year for Thanksgiving..she lives up North from us and arrived on different flights. All you have to do is call DME and very them both your and freinds flight info and DME will take care of you both! Not to worry this is done all the time.

We have even used it for round trips to the airport during our stay to send home teenagers not able to enjoy the entire stay.

For lack of a better term I will say you get a "voucher in Disney Vacation packet for DME. The voucher may be "dated" , but it does not have to be used on the specified date. When you arrive at the airport you will follow the signs to DME and wait for the next shuttle to the resort.
