Using DDP for F&W?

Looking at going next year for Food and Wine..

I've never gone for it.. How do they do all the booths for food? Do they count as a credit or how does it all work..?

My wife and I have been to the last 3 F&W Festivals. Yes, you can use your snack credits for just about any item at the food kiosks. To make sure your getting the most out of it they usually post the menu with costs online a month before it begins. Check the menu out and use your snack credits for the items that you want to try and that are most expensive. Usually the lobster roll at the Boston/New England kiosk costs the most etc.

Don't bother using a counter or table service that day because you'll be eating a ton. Double those up and use them for a signature dining restaurant etc. That's what we do and it works out great.

Almost every booth counts the food they offer as a "snack". When we went last year, I made us do the deluxe plan just for the extra snacks to use for F&W. The alcohol does not count for snacks, but sometimes speciality smoothies or non-alcoholic drinks will.

Thats what I was wondering.. if it was worth it to do the deluxe..

Things are always subject to change but every year thus far that I have been to F & W we have been able to use snack credits for the food items at the booths. Have a great time!!! Marie
