Using Airmiles towards trips

Hey everyone! Has anyone ever used airmiles towards their disney vacation (im really interested in the hotel part, but any other expeiences would be great too!). Ive been looking at the airmiles website, and you must book through holiday house, and if you have 880 airmiles the hotel costs 443$ for a value for 6 nights. It seems like a good deal. I currently have 420, and three of us are saving and are going to merge our points.

Just for further info-
for around 1500 you can get a 7 day adult park hopper, so im thinking the hotel is a better deal!

I've used Airmiles for a number of different Disney vacation items, from airfare to tickets to Starwood certificates for the Swan and Dolphin as well as car rentals. The biggest cost for me is airfare, so I tend to use mine for that. I usualy book room only for the resort, so I have until check-in to pay and always pay down the balance before I do.

I'm very close now to having enough Airmiles again to pay for tickets and airfare so all I'll have to worry about is the hotel and spending money.

EDIT TO ADD: The nice thing about Holiday House is that the hotel rates are per room per night and not per person per night like most tour operators.

I actually got free plane tickets for this trip by saving Coca-Cola caps!
I mean alot of caps!
Mycokerewards program used to offer Delta Skymiles as one of the redeemable prizes for Coke Points.

you get 3 points per Coke cap.
335 points or 112 Coke caps =(1) 850 Delta Skymiles Certificate
30 Delta 850 Skymiles Certificate= 25,000 Delta Skymiles (1 Award Ticket)
Double that for 50,000 Delta Skymiles or (2 Award Tickets)

I know it sounds impossible but I had alot of friends helping save caps for me.
It took about a year..... but I still have the 55 Gallon trashbag full of all those litte red caps to prove it!!!

So, 1360 coke caps got you a free plane ticket? You are talking liter bottles, right? That's a lot of soda but if you have help, then it's worth it. Congrats!!
