Use one table service for 2 quick service credits

This has got to be my 80 millionth question on here. :brick: And I certainly appreciate all the help. :wave:

I'm pretty sure I haven't asked this before, or seen it asked, but if so then I greatly apologize....

When using the Dining Plan, can I break down one Table Service credit and use it for 2 Quick Service credits?

No. You can use 1 Table Service for 1 Counter Service meal (if you really want to) but you cannot use 1 Table Service and break it into 2 Counter Service meals.

It would be best to plan ahead and make Advance Dining Reservations for all available Table Service coupons that you will get. With the Dining Plan, you get one Table, one Counter, and one snack per person, per NIGHT of your stay.

I know that last year during the Free Dining period, if you used a Table Service credit as a Counter Service, you got a paper voucher for two additional snacks. (Both snacks had to be purchased at the same time). I don't think this is available year-round, though.

I've heard that you can also "trade down" a counter service credit for a snack credit. Also heard one un-confirmed report of people getting multiple snacks when using a counter-service credit.

The one thing i wish could be done is to trade 3-4 Service credits for sit downs. We tend to do more sit downs when we go.

i think we should be able to trade a counter service for 2 snacks. i know when we go we are on the ddp (not free ) we are using all of our table service, and i know for a fact we wont use all of our counter service meals. i guess it all depends on the cm you talk to, i have heard some will let you and some wont. cross your fingers and hope you get one that doesnt mind bending the rules a tad for ya, but i wouldnt count on getting two counter service meals. they wont bend them THAT much. :wave:

A neighbor of mine went last year during the free dining promo. Despite my urging her to book her sit downs, she decided to wing it. You know how far that got her!! Well, when there weren't ANY sit downs to be had, she went to guest services. She was able to get 2 counter service meals for each sit down meal. When they had counter services meals left at the end of her stay, she got 3 snacks for each counter service. She came home with lots of Mickey lollipops that she passed out as souveniors!

I know it is a "case by case" basis so there is no reason not to ask when you are there!

youre right, it never hurts to ask. the worst that could happen is that they say no!!:shrug:
