Upgrading Park Passes

We'll be heading to the world in 5 days! We purchased the "free" dining package with 2 day base tickets. We will be upgrading to 9 day hoppers but are considering adding the Water Parks and More because the cost difference is so minimal. Can I upgrade the tickets more than once (once when we first arrive, then again if the weather is good and we decide to do water parks)?

Yes, it is my understanding any ticket can be upgraded as long as the last day hasn't been used or the ticket hasn't expired. Chances are the weather will be great for doing water parks this time of year. My suggestion is to hit the WPs earlier in the day as rain storms usually occur later in the day (which can potentially shut down the WPs) and you'll also have shorter lines for the slides and such.

i would also call the reservation department to confirm. if you decide to do it, you can do it at the concierge desk.

As long as the last valid option hasn't been used and within 14 days of the first use if the first ticket you can upgrade.

As long as the ticket is still valid for park entry, and you are within the 14 days of first use, you can upgrade again and again. I do believe that current policy is that the upgrade would need to be done prior to park close on the last valid entry. Used to be anytime with the 14 days, but now if you use you last park day Sat, but then want to go on Sun, they won't let you upgrade. You would need to make changes prior to park close on Saturday.
