I swear I wasnt seeing things..It was different which caught my eye, and then I tried posting and my computer had to be rebooted. Then I looked again and it was the same one.

But I swear it was different. The start page was animated with each park having a scene, with people walking about. The page I clicked on was the $49 dollar promo and it brought me to a completly differant page to choose a vacation package...

You weren't seeing things... I saw the new page last night, but today it was back to the old one.

I don't know, I just went on the page and tried to price a package for my November trip and all I got was:

the "new page" is only half loading right now. It's definitely a new layout...but only the "Price Your Dream Vacation" window is loading...

What a disturbing way to update a web site. Most LARGE companies build the new website on a new server then when it is up and tested switch over to the new server. I can't imagine what they are doing.

Yeah WDW doesn't seem to know how to run their site, which is pretty pathetic considering its the portal for the most visited vacation destination in the world. You'd think they'd have a user friendly and continually updated and accurate website. :brick:

The reason for viewing different versions could be a number of issues, the old version could still be held in your computers Cache so not updating yet on your computer or some of their servers still contain the old version of the site, so depending on which server you are connected to will depend on which version you will get, give them time its not as simple as the flick of a switch.

I can access the new version of the site fine on my computer. I really like it, I just don't like how the calendar doesn't show a list of refurbishments anymore.

What the heck portion of the website are we talking about? The main WDW page for me shows the animation of balloons floating up around the castle, in front of a mote, with ivy up the right side of the screen.

Is that the new one referred to? It's been like that for quite awhile now, like before October.

The new website is up now (and seems pretty stable). And I have to say it's ten times better. Video and pics of all the big attractions and a completely updated, much more friendly interface. Plus no more outdated information!

Pretty nice! Though I have to ask, why is the Imagination pavilion the picture for Soarin'? And why does the video for AK show a picture of the entrance with "Happiest Celebration on Earth" banners? :veryconfu
