Hi, everybody! It's been awhile since I last posted. I wanted to update ya'll on what's going on. ..
I graduated in May from the College of Charleston with a BA in Historic Preservation and Community Planning.:sohappy:
Thomas and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on June 23 and ...
We're expecting our first child on or around St. Patrick's Day 2003. :sohappy:
Well, that's all the news I have for now. I hope to be able to post more now that I'm finished with school.

Sad news/Happy news

A lot of things have happened since I last posted....

Saddest is that I had a miscarriage in September. :(

My husband was offered a chance to transfer to his company's Tampa office. So we jumped at the chance to relocate (which we probably wouldn't have been able to do had I still been pregnant). We now live in Brandon just outside of Tampa and just over an hour's drive to WDW. :sohappy:

For now, we have decided to put off starting a family (especially since moving ate up most of our savings).

Well, that's all for the updates...

Maybe now I can keep up with the forums since I don't have to worry about school and I only work part time.

I hope everybody had a merry Christmas :xmas: and have a happy New Year! :D

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I have wondered where you "disappeared" to from time to time, along with other missing forum members.

Please try to look forward to an exciting new year! Can you believe that BOTH Christmas and New Year's Eve were rained out? Sunshine State? Ha!

Chris, I am sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you really enjoy your new home. ( I keep wondering why we live in Michigan right now and now say Florida.) Good to hear from you. Do you get to go to WDW much now that you live so close?

Not really...we really can't afford it right now...

However, we went to Downtown Disney on my husband's b-day to see the opening of Lord of the Rings at the AMC Theater on West Side. We also saw Harry Potter [for the 3rd time] and Star Trek. We also had lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express and did a little shopping in the Marketplace (bought a couple of board games at Once Upon a Toy).

By the way... now that we are having "retro week"... do you have your old avatar? I think it was you and your husband the day you got married, right? Could you use it again? :animwink:
