Upcoming/Rumored Projects

^Maybe I am mistaken. I know for a fact it is gone at Disneyland now. There has been rumors of its removal, but they may be holding off on the Florida removal because they want to update the entire Imagination pavilion as well.

Does anyone know if the Imagination pavilion is getting it's long-needed refresh any time soon? I know there was quite a bit of rumors going on earlier this year that it was going to be closed over the summer, but I guess that never happened. With the top section closed and Captain EO gone, I beleive that we will see a refurb sometime in the 2015 season.
I doubt it. Have to reopen Norway before shutting down another attraction.

And following that is Soarin's shut down. Here's hoping that following that is Imagination and/or Ellen. Of course they could also put something in one of the many vacant buildings in Epcot, but that would be ridiculous.
I truly doubt that you will ever see a full Soarin shut down. The most is to be down to one theater, but, I don't even think that will happen.

I think it will. Rumors have a new queue. I can't see how they couldn't shut it all down and just do it all. Normally I'd agree it wouldn't be totally shut down and maybe I'm not thinking about how they could route guests if they work on the queue but their best bet IS short down time. If they can take off Test Track they can take off Soarin'.

I think it's why they tested FP only return. So they could route guests in only through one line. My guess is build a queue that goes in through the exit. Half of the hallway is exit, half is load.

Ohhh .. that makes sense. I was having a hard time remembering the queue, honestly, LOL, so that definitely makes sense. Maybe it won't be closed fully then.

Isn't Fountain View in Epcot supposed to be converted to add Starbucks this year?

Starbucks was added over a year ago.

he isnt saying frozen is taking over imagination, he's saying the funds needed for a refurb aren't going to imagination anymore as previously speculated, but to the frozen attraction.
oh, k... dont think that that was a reason. a major change uses capex not maintenance funds. if they really wanted to do both, all they would have to do is submit a proposal and get it cleared. more likely is that Frozen superceded Imagination on the time scale, as Epcot cannot afford even closing Imagination for pure park capacity terms while Maelstrom is down for gut and refurb

Captain EO is gone?? You sure? I think it is still there. But out of all of the rides at WDW I think Imagination is the one I'm most looking to getting refurbed. So I am just as curious.
I really hope they make it close to the original and bring back Dreamfinder. And then there are rumors of it becoming-yes, yet another Pixar ride for Inside Out! If this is what's really happening, we may see a ride based off The Good Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom the year afterward...:p
