I am taking the tracker to the Animation forum with movies! I was inspired by @MisterPenguin and @BasiltheBatLord for working and creating these timelines! The websites and information on here may not be that credible but they are just rumors. I will add and remove movies as the days go on! This thread is not to discuss the movies. You can make a thread or reply to a thread already made. So let us begin!

We have heard from a source close to the project, that music superstar Lady Gaga is high on Disney’s wish list for a role in the film. Most likely the role of Ursula. While we haven’t been able to confirm any of this (we reached out to a studio representative who could not comment at this time), we’ve decided to share it as a rumor and nothing more.

Does this thread sadden anyone else?

Almost NO original material. Almost completely sequels and remakes.

Does anyone remember either "golden age" of Disney (the original or at least the second one -- on the early '90s) when Disney was cranking out new material (yes, including their adaptations of fairy tales they had never done before) nearly every year, with Oscar-worthy brilliance and Broadway-worthy scores. Every year. Every year.

Now, it seems they can't think of hardly a new thing.

That's Hollywood in general. Look at the top movies at box office (gross) for the last few years, and you will see very little original material, especially from the larger studios.
