What do you guys think of a Tim Allen's Tool Time Theme for UOE? I know that the show has been off the air for some time, but it was one of ABC's top rated shows and the reruns draw big rattings today. With the right script I think Disney could come up with one heck of a ride.

is UOE?

Oh wait... Universe of Energy.

And... NO. They shoudl take out the Ellen thing and have it the way it was back in the 80's. No more celeb has-been tie-ins.

I love Tool Time and I hate the UOE with Ellen... If there is an option to change it to Tool Time or keep it as it is, I think it would be a better choice for Tool Time

Whoa, back off !!! He asked for an opinion, I gave it. I didn't berate him saying it was a stupid idea or anything like that. I said 2 words, neither put the guy down or insulted him. To say that we should shoot him is being way way way over dramatic !!!!!

I was sceptical before I rode it but was plesantly surprized. I think it's atleast good for now and there are other more pressing issues to be considered such as fate of WOL, rehab of SSE and global neiborhood, the entire imagination pavillion, and continuing rehab of TLS.

Funny that you mention that, I went over to LMA at MGM. Now with it being a brand new Show, I was quite surprised to see a tow tractor, towing out props, that said BINFORD on the side of it.

Would it work I'm not sure I think that pavilion needs help but I'm not sure what would help it.

Ummm..besides for the fact that the show really doesn't have much of anything to do with energy, it has been off the air for years already. I don't think that it would make a lot of sense to have an attraction that not many people would still relate to in that sense.

Well look at this way, think of all the times that Tim has either electrocuted himself, blew him self up, used gasoline powered gadgets and vehicles, you know "more power" grunt grunt grunt, <GRUNT, grunt grunt,>that sorta kinda relates to energy and its misuse .<STRETCH>

Not that Im taking a position on this, but Home Improvement is still nationally syndicated on TBS I think, and the Tool Time segments were always the most popular and most relatable aspect of this one time number one show.

Besides, after spending X million dollars on that AA of Ellen they are not getting rid of her that quickly.

I appreciate the suggestion because it recognizes the need for a change and that humor is often the best method for making a point. Let me go out on a limb here and just...um...how about, uh, they just come up with a whole new approach? Yes - that's it! Break the mold, march to the beat of their own drum and all that creativity stuff. One could come up with quite a compelling show just focusing on alternative engergy sources. Fuel cells for home power and cars, hybrid cars, flywheels, and what can be done to conserve energy like inflating tires, insulating homes, making cars lighter weight, LED light bulbs, etc. They key, of course, is coming up with a compelling story and core attraction. For example, you could do a Mummy type coaster where the ride has a truly corny theme on energy (song, dancers, everything that makes it cliche) right up to the point where a power outage occurs, and the ride becomes a nightmare (think sudden stop, total darkness, and whistling/steam release like the end of Journey) demonstrating everything that can go wrong when the power goes out (no brakes, no aritifical intelligence control, etc.) culminating in your ending the ride thinking you've just climbed a lift hill and are about to drop when your harness opens...when the lights come on at the exit.

Ok...too much thought for this forum, but the idea is let's go with new and not recycle. It may not be great, but five minutes of thought can lead to a whole mess of ideas!
