unusual bathroom greeting

 I know this will probably have some real smart aleck responses, but here goes. When the family and I were at WDW in Aug, in MK I had to use the mensroom, so I scoot over to the breezway buy the swiss family treehouse, after I walked in, and no one else was there, I suddenly hear stitch start laughing and say, " Stitch is hiding, don't tell, don't tell", at which point I thought that was cute. But later on that same day as I entered the mensroom at cosmic ray's starlite cafe, which was also empty, I hear him again, "Stitch is hiding, Stitch is hiding, are you hiding too"? At which point I think some one's having fun with me, but for the rest of our trip I never heard it again. Anyone else have this happen? Please don't tell me I'm going crazier than I am already, and I know a few people on here know how crazy I am already.:hammer:

You're not going crazy (well, perhaps you are, but in this case, hearing Stitch is not a symptom). You can also hear him in the vents in the restrooms between Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress. "Lilo -- Lilo -- where are you?"

Makes sense in those (Tomorrowland) restrooms, but it's kind of a stretch in the others.

well, he is supposed to get into everything. And thankyou, at least it has to be a legitimate reason now for going crazy.
54 days and counting, till my long now short, (because of my freaking job) vacation comes

How appropriate for Stitch to hide in the bathrooms. This is exactly where his attraction belongs, in the toilet:D

I thought that they were only doing that in Tomorrowland. I didn't think they were having him invade the other bathrooms. I also thought that it was only going to be for a little bit as a publicity for the ride.

I am going to be honest, I was never really a huge fan of AE either. However, I think AE was better than Stitch is. Stitch is basically a toned down version of AE just like Dinosaur is a tamed down version of Countdown to Extinction. My main beef with Stich is all the obnoxious publicity he is getting. Stitch's Kingdom, monrail voiceovers and decals, bathroom announcements, not to mention the merchandise, etc, etc. For the amount of publicity and merchandising done for Stitch, you would think he was tied into an E-ticket attraction.

Since I am not a local nor do I have connections, I don't know the type of attendance SGE pulls in in a given day, but I suspect that the marketing folks need to heavily market Stitch to attract people to SGE.

I actually find that funny.

My first thought was that the guy (or girl) that does the voice of stitch was having fun with you.

Some one reported this a few months ago. I told my Husband. Now he wants to go to every bathroom so he can find out were Stitch is.

What would possess WDI to come up with such a concept?

I can imagine the day when little Nemo figurines are forver swimming in the toilets. Or mirrors on the back of stall doors in bathrroms near the Haunted Mansion that show "hitchhiking" ghosts.

:lookaroun I fear for my security.
