Unused days

I'm a longtime lurker who has gotten a lot of into from these forums and for that I thank all of you. I have a question about unused days on multi day passes.

I have our old 4 day park hopper passes from 1996, I know we've used the park days on the passes but didn't use the admission for the water parks Pleasure Island etc. Is there any way to tell if there is anything left on them? Calling Disney or can they check them at the park or Ft. Wilderness when we get there?

We're going down in November and I have other questions but this is the only one I'll bug you guys with for now. :D

Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily. Once upon a time, "plus options", or whatever they were called back then, were only good for x days from the first use of the ticket, based on the number of days on the ticket. Usually, it was 7 days from first use.

Exactly. It depends upon when the ticket was sold. I recently used a ticket from 1986. It was still good for admission to Epcot or MK, but not AK or MGM. (unless I chose to "credit" it towards a new ticket) The plus options were only good for 7 days from first use.

Ok... so what about a 3 day ticket from 1982.

Back then they used to stamp the date on them so I can see the third box for a stamp empty.

But in 82, MGM and AK didn't exist. What will they convert this ticket to? A 1 day park hopper? or just a single park ticket?

Anyone know who i could call to confirm this before I actually go to disney world?

It would be converted to a once day for Epcot or MK...OR it would go towards the price of one day on a park hopper.
Actually no, we went along with two of those type of tickets from the mid 80's and they converted them into TWO DAY hoppers valid in all FOUR parks...

We did it at the ticket carosel at the Magic Kingdom and they just 'deactivated' 3 days on a 5 pair of day hopper pass.

Hey... can't quote yourself... who knew?

Anyway does anyone know a number I can call for sure to find out?

I want to do advance purchase tickets and want to buy a 4 day and use my remaining day (for a total of 5). But if it's only going to be updated to a single park ticket, then I'll go ahead and buy a 5 day
