Unused days

I'm a longtime lurker who has gotten a lot of into from these forums and for that I thank all of you. I have a question about unused days on multi day passes.

I have our old 4 day park hopper passes from 1996, I know we've used the park days on the passes but didn't use the admission for the water parks Pleasure Island etc. Is there any way to tell if there is anything left on them? Calling Disney or can they check them at the park or Ft. Wilderness when we get there?

We're going down in November and I have other questions but this is the only one I'll bug you guys with for now. :D

Thanks in advance.

I believe that a day at a water park would have counted as one of your 4 ays, so if you used up all 4 days in the parks then you are probably just the owner opf a dogeared piece of card.

Sorry

I think those are parkhopper plus tickets, which had an expiration date....I'm not certain but I think the water park had to be used within 7 days of the last park use. Guys, please jump in to correct me if I'm wrong!

I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seems to me that on the passes we had back in 1996, we had seven days from the first use of the pass to go to the water parks and/or Pleasure Island. If we didn't use them in that week, the admission options for those minor parks expired - even if we still had days remaining on the passes in the major parks. Any time I've had a question about our park passes, though, Guest Relations at WDW has been terrific about checking. :animwink:

Ok... so what about a 3 day ticket from 1982.

Back then they used to stamp the date on them so I can see the third box for a stamp empty.

But in 82, MGM and AK didn't exist. What will they convert this ticket to? A 1 day park hopper? or just a single park ticket?

Anyone know who i could call to confirm this before I actually go to disney world?

My son has a day left on an all in one park hopper ticket from 1975 and ( the one with the photo on it ).
Disney have told me if I take it to guest relations they will issue a new ticket for 1 day.

Does anyone know if the additional options on park hopper plus tickets expire as we have 2 tickets with 1 feature unused which could be used for the water parks.

Only 30 days to go till trip no 5 - April 4th

It would be converted to a once day for Epcot or MK...OR it would go towards the price of one day on a park hopper.

I called an asked before I went in December. I had an old ticket that I thought had one day left on it, but wasn't sure. They told me that the only way to find out is to get to the gate and try it.

It did.

I don't remember where I heard this, but I did read somewhere that the only way to determine how many days were left was the bring the ticket to Guest Relations at the parks.

Good luck!

your park hopper ticket couldn't have been from 1975, maybe you ment 1985, Since the park hopper media didn't debut untill just after Epcot opened in 1982. In 1975 Disney was still using the old A-E ticket media where you paid for addmission and then used the Coupons for each attraction which ment you paid for each attraction you went on.

If the ticket you have is a park hopper plus, then the options and theme park days you didn't use DON'T EXPIRE. They are good for as long as you have the ticket. The only way to see what is on them though is to check at Disney when you get there.

it says right on the park hopper tickets that any unused days DO NOT EXPIRE you just have to remember if you have any days left... Im bringing an old park hopper w/ me when i go next wk just will have to cross my fingers while going through the turnstiles :D

Or you can go to Guest Relations and not have to worry about that. I once accidentaly put my old passes through the turnstyle and it is embarrassing. Not to mention the time you waste in line jus tto turn around and get new tickets.

Plus options NEVER expire. You could have a 6 day park hopper plus ticket and go to the parks for 6 days and never use the 3 plus options for water parks or Pleasure Island. The next time you go to WDW you can use those options.

Not necessarily. Once upon a time, "plus options", or whatever they were called back then, were only good for x days from the first use of the ticket, based on the number of days on the ticket. Usually, it was 7 days from first use.
