Oh lovely ha!
Really this may not be for you!
So Norway is more of a pork and fish kind of a place, eh? This is good to know! Perhaps I'll look at some other locations.

If it is just Belle in the gold dress you are going for, I would go with the meet and greet next to Tony's. When I was there I got to spend time with Cindy, Punzel, and gold dress Belle. Just make sure to ask at Town Hall for the lineup and check the poster inside the building which shows the princesses that are there at the time. They get "tea time" for 15 minutes after talking to people every 45 minutes.
It was one-time meal for us. We didn't think it was bad, but it wasn't good enough to do again. I'm not a fish or pork person either, so I didn't enjoy it, but my daughter did enjoy the raw salmon. Yuk. Small warning, if you are going with another family sitting at the same table and you both want the free 8X10, they only gave us one. Since I made the reservation for both of us, it was considered one party. There were two moms and two daughters, but we could only get one free 8X10. If we had known that, we would have made separate reservations at the same time and asked to sit together. No big deal, but just wanted to let others know.Oh... um, I don't eat fish either. It's chicken, turkey, or steak for this girl!
We've eaten at Akershus twice and CRT twice. While I love the castle, I think the service and food are better at Akershus.
I had mushroom ravioli last visit...

We are huge fans of the cold buffet...

I also had the kjottkake on our first trip...basically big meatballs...

After dropping 1900 PF the other night to make room for BoG, I realized I was without a true princess meal...so I opted for Akershus over CRT. They do have chicken breast and beef tips (which DH had last time and enjoyed) on the menu...so I would think you could find something there appealing that isn't pork or fish.
Either way- we enjoy it and would recommend it if you're looking for a princess meal.
They do have a chicken dish, beef tips, and meatballs on the menu, but the beef tips are served in a mushroom gravy so that wouldn't work for you either. As others mentioned, you can see Belle in her yellow dress at the meet and greet next to Tony's, and you can even get a fastpass to do it. That might definitely work better for you and then you can eat at a restaurant that has food you could eat.
I love the Traditional Kjottkake - Norweigian meatballs served with Mashed Potatoes, seasonal Vegetables, and Lingonberry Sauce and the Seared Herb-dusted Beef Tips - in wild mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.. My DW loves the Oven-roasted Chicken Breast - with fennel hash, tomato jam and chive oil. We have only had lunch or dinner and everything is so good.Oh... um, I don't eat fish either. It's chicken, turkey, or steak for this girl!
Akersush has "Safe" Norwegian food. Nothing too crazy, nothing like a plate of lutefisk is going to jump out at you. Being part Norwegian and having a grandmother that was born in Norway, everything that was there is very "americanized" and caters to American tastes.
However, having said there, there are many many people living in America who, if it is not a grilled chicken breast or broiled steak, go screaming into the night. That's not a bad thing (nor is it a good thing). The thing to remember is that it is a Norwegian restaruant, and while it attempts to serve items that appeal to all, they do have a Norewgian flair to them. If you are a picky eater, chances are you are not going to be happy in ANY ethnic restaruant.
As for CRT - I would never go back there again. Poor service, rushed interactions, and food that is clearly cranked out the of kitchen as fast and cheaply as possible. If it was not in the castle, there would be no draw whatsoever.
