I had one that I shared long ago about EPCOT in the early years, but no one could find me an answer or any evidence of what it used to be.

In the first couple of years, The Land pavilion's rotating restaurant was called "The Good Turn" and I was there on several occassions with my parents (dad worked at EPCOT). Once you rotated past the boat ride below, there were a few murals...now it depicts I believe plants and stuff like that, but I recall them being very abstract murals, mary-blair esque, and they could have shown the queen of hearts cards, etc...but anything more specific is difficult to come by.

No one else could remember what it was like when I posted it last time and I've seen no photos or videos from that era.
The Land was covered top to bottom with fantastic murals. On both sides of the Good Turn was an abtract black/brownish and white mural that resembled growing plants. The effect resembled the henna-painted hands that Berber brides put on for their weddings in the Maghreb (a comparison which, I suddenly realise, may only add to the general confusion)

This what you are talking about? To the left is the Good Turn:

You would not be able to sprinkle all of the ashes everywhere on one trip, but you could certainly slip a baggie filled with a portion in your pocket. They are only placed in an urn/box upon request, after purchasing or providing a container. Otherwise, they are returned to the family in a sealed cardboard box - about the size of a shoebox, depending upon different factors. Unless you have a container that can be x-rayed, this is how you would bring them on a plane.

So, I suspect that there are ashes in WDW that have been brought in and scattered secretly.

I've had a little experience with cremains. I would never scatter them on any private property but my own, and will more than likely request mine be buried in the family plot - with my parents and grandparents. My husband wishes his to be scattered, but hasn't made his final decision yet. Suffice to say that it won't be at WDW. ;) He scattered his mother's over the Chesapeake Bay.

I've transported both of my parent's ashes on airlines.

No, it wasn't outside of the restaurant, it was inside...like I tried to say before, it was just after you passed above the boat ride, you'd see some murals that are now depictions of the seasons/plants.

If you were at the front of the restaurant, you'd see them toward the left side.

I just found this, it would have been on the far left of this pic:

Actually you CANT....at least not now.
1. You'd have to get the ashes into the park in the first place. Which, given the security guards checking bags and the CMs manning each of the turnstiles, if any of them see anyone carrying an urn, that person will not be allowed in the park.

2. The Haunted Mansion's cast members actually watch the building's security cameras. Yes, there are security cameras. If anyone pulls out a jar of ashes to sprinkle them along the track, they will stop the ride and escort the guest from the property. The guest will then be charged a fee to clean up their dear departed.

LOL I could probably get through security with a bazooka. We'd open all pockets of our bags and the guard would open quickly and close it then move on to the next person in line. I think you could probably get through the line with grandpa poured into a drink cup. ;)

Ok - when I went as a little kid - maybe 1976 or so I remember going to the Contempory and going to a buffet or maybe a show in a ballroom. They brought the kids to see the fireworks and did games for us. I don't recall characters but I recall the ceilings being very high.

That's crazy. Last trip out, my father was told he needed a locker because he had his pocket knife with him. Little 4" folding buck knife.

I have heard many people talk about the security going all through their bags but we have never seen it. Of course that obviously doesn't mean that it does not happen. :) It just means that it hasn't happened to us, yet. My wife (God, I wish she would stop) wears a pack, with the pouch in front, to the parks and she has forgotten about it. Each time she forgot to take it off and open it the security guard never asked her about it. She just walked on in.
