Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

What's odd is 89 oz. only cost $7.00. Sounds like a bargain based on the price of a bottled beverage.
Dont worry, the accountants probably noticed the opportunity of increasing profits by increasing the price of your soda by 300% on par with everything dusted with pixie dust.
All magic costs money!

. It took over an hour to actually get to the gates of the Magic Kingdom from the time we parked. I think that's a little ridiculous.

At lunchtime, we went to Cosmic Ray's, or at least tried to. I got little Dylan out of the stroller along with all the stuff and sent my hubby to get the food so I could sit down with the little kids.

. I was appalled when I was told I had to guarantee any dining reservation with a credit card and cancel up to 24 hours in advance or be charged $10 per person. Ok, so that's $60 if we are stuck on a ride or get there late. People with four kids are rarely on time. At this point, I was angry enough to ask for a manager to discuss all of these "new policies". !

I've been getting a bunch of likes on my prior post in this thread, so I again looked up the original. I have this to add:

1. An hour from parking to the gates? Something tells me she spent a huge chunk of time just unpacking the car and walking to the tram stop.

2. Why couldn't she wait outside Cosmic Rays with the kids until hubby got through the line? Something tells me that she came with so many accessories that an unusual amount of space would have been used by this family.

3. What do you mean "People with four kids are rarely on time."? Plan ahead. I'm one of six kids, and my parents were never late for anything. Why? They planned ahead, and we were all very disciplined. Plan to be there a half hour early, and maybe you'd actually get there on time. Further, being a little late has never resulted in losing a priority seating, in my experience. You'd have to be really really late, which isn't the kids' fault.

Overall, I really would hate traveling with this lady and her royal entourage. I assume when she walks into Epcot she's mad because Spaceship Earth doesn't rise from it's pilings and revolve around her.
