Universal Studios: The Game

Twister:

In this game you are put to the test. Standing in the center of a drive in during a massive F5 tornado, you have to manage to survive for 8 minutes. This is the sequence of events of how the Tornado happens. First, the wind picks up and starts to form the twister. After this happens, the drive in screen is ripped apart. Soon the drive in sign is knocked over and swept away. Now, you have to start dodging flying debris including; trees, cows, tractors, pieces of buildings, etc. This is when it gets tough. The nearby gas station catches fire and spills gasoline all across the area. Electrical poles explode and shower you with sparks until they collapse. Now you have to dodge a spinning/flying truck as it is swept around. While doing all of this avoid the twister which can suck you into it. The level concludes with you dodging fireballs from the exploding gas station.

Beating this game will get you 1 Universal Express.

Rip, Ride, And Rockit

Here you get to create your very own music coaster. Put together several tracks and synch it all up to whatever your music needs are. This game also lets you record your in-coaster experience to play on YouTube. This coaster can either be saved or demolished for a new one.

Creating a coaster will get you 1 Universal Express.

Islands of Adventure:

Port of Entry:
Here you can explore the biggest market in Universal, and enjoy beautiful vistas and panoramas of the entire park.

Activities:
Findit Taksi- For 50 coins you can jump onto the Findit Taksi, a Marrakesh themed taxi service that is used to find hidden items. In this case, you can use the taxi service to find 6 lost items. They are; A wooden Indian statue, a gamma ray, a gigantic comic strip, a fossil, a magic wand, Triton's staff, and a hat (minus the cat). Finding all of these items will get you 210 coins.

Clam Opener- Here you get the oppurtunity to get a free Universal Express, but you have a mission to accomplish. Here you have to rebuild a windmill which will use it's power to open a giant clam. Inside of the clam is a massive pearl which can be exchanged with a Universal Express Pass. The items to rebuild the windmill are scattered throughout the Port of Entry. You are given a map and instructions on how to rebuild the mill.

Beacons- On top of one of the Port of Entry's buildings you have to rotate a beacon around to bring several stranded boats on the Island of Adventure lagoon back to shore. Get all 7 boats and you will get 25 coins.

Drums from Across the Globe- It takes 15 coins to play. You get to try out over 50 unique drums with different sounds and have a small competition to win 30 coins.

Marvel Superhero Island:
The best place to come face to face with all of your favorite superheroes. In this land, you are given an oppurtunity to explore various areas and buy Marvel items for your room.

Activities:
Storm Force Accelatron- For 15 coins you get the oppurtunity to help out X-Men hero Storm. Your job is to create a massive storm to help power a generator that is supplying power to the island. To do this you pilot a small cart repeatedly around a circular field to create a tornado. Problem is, the storm can destroy you so be careful. Winning get you 25 coins.

Doctor Doom's Fearfall- The sinister doctor Doom is testing out his new FearFall on unsuspecting bystanders. Granted briefly with superpowers, you need to quickly (within 4 minutes) disable both FearFalls. To do this you get the ability to quickly climb up hard objects. To disable the Fearfalls destroy 5 generators on each one. Unfortunately Doom will be trying to knock you off of the platforms so be careful. 45 coins won.

Incredible Hulk Coaster:

Here you are playing as Bruce Banner. Your underground lab has been taken over by several villains who are planning to steal your gamma formulas. You have to battle your way through the lab and collect 15 gamma vials. After defeating all of the bad guys (through the help of going into Hulk mode every now and then) and collecting the vials you need to put them all in a gamma ray generator. To finish the level use the generator to try out your gamma accelerator (the coaster). You have 3 tries to get it right.

Beating this level gets you 1 universal Express.

The Amazing Adventures Of Spiderman:

Level 1(New York): In this first level you are playing as Spiderman. Your job is to defeat all of the villains of the Sinister Syndicate and get the Statue of Liberty back. On the streets of New York you begin by facing off against the Green Goblin. He will try to blast you away so avoid his glider and pumpkin bombs at all costs. After a cut-scene you are flying through the air on his glider with him. Trade punches until he falls off. Next, pilot the glider through the air and battle Electro before ending the level.

Level 2(The Sewers): After a cut-scene you fall into the sewers and battle against not 2, but 3 enemies. Keep walking through the sewers until you reach each one. First is Hydro Man who can only be defeated by dropping a pipe on him. Second is Shriek who you need to use hand to hand combat with. Finally is Doc ock who is the hardest.

Level 3(Statue of Liberty): Now, you have to get the Statue of Liberty back. To do this, you will have to get to the top of the empire state building and destroy a gravity defying ray gun. Unfortunately, all of the villains you defeated earlier will be back to stop you. Fight them all and destroy the ray gun.

Winning this level will get you 1 Universal Express.

Toon Lagoon:
In Toon Lagoon comic strips come alive. You can explore the colorful/black and white worlds of classic comic strips. Your favorite comic strip characters also make appearances.

Activities:
Comic Stripped- Ever wanted to create your own comic strip? Well, for 25 coins you can have your own character comic strip which you can take back to your room afterwards. There are over 30 different types of comic strips you can pick from.

Comic Grounds- There are large indoor playgrounds located in Toon Lagoon where you can get over 500 coins by exploring areas designed to look like comic strips.

Me Ship, The Olive- On Popeye's famous ship you can explore over 3 stories of nautical fun. There are tons of activities such as; firing water cannons at targets, ringing the ship bell, sliding down the hatch, etc. You can get over 200 coins by doing thse activities.

Popeye & Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges:

Pilot your raft through adventure. Bluto has kidnapped Olive and is planning to keep her. Pursue Bluto's ship through numerous rapids and avoid crashing into rocks and the walls. Also, Bluto has set up numerous water cannons which will be used on you. The finale of this game ends up with you pursuing Bluto's over a massive waterfall where you finally get an oppurtunity to play as Popeye. You get on board Bluto's ship and battle him until you finally defeat him.

Rescuing Olive gets you 1 Universal Express.

Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls:

Level 1(Mine Carts): In this start of this level you are pursuing Snidely who has just captured Nell. This takes place in Wontyabee falls. You have to jump breaking tracks and avoid massive saws which threaten to slice you up. You also have to avoid trains of thought. The level ends off with you crashing into a roadblock and getting flung outside of the mine.

Level 2(Ripsaw Falls): Now you get to pursue Snidely and Nell on foot. You are on the exterior of Mt. Do right at a logging facility. To catch up with them you have to pursue them through by jumping onto logs and avoid massive flying sawblades. Nell is strapped onto a log whch is headed for Ripsaw Falls and you have to save her before she goes over the edge. Snidely will try to stop you by launching water blasts at you. Knock himm off Ripsaw Falls and rescue Nell.

Beating this level will get you 1 Universal Express.

Jurassic Park:
Here you get to come face to face with live dinosaurs and explore a prehistoric park.

Activities:
Jurassic Park Discovery Center- In Islands of Adventure's biggest resource center you can explore 2 floors of dino fun. In DNA Central you can create your very own dinosaur that looks alot like your character but with a few additions of yor own (10 coins). With Fossil Find you can make over 50 coins by discovering numerous dinosaur fossils. Dino Feed Lets you feed and take care of various omnivores (20 coins). Other activities in JP DC include shopping, trivia games, and more.

Camp Jurassic- Jurassic Park is also home to Camp Jurassic, a massive play area where you can explore, dig, search, run, play, and more. There are also some challenges here. Rock wall climbing, mosquito search in the Amber Mines, Boneyard bowling, races, etc. You can earn lots of coins here.

Jurassic Park River Adventure:

Level 1(River): In the beginning of this level you are piloting a river raft down a Jurassic Park river. Along the way avoid whirlpools, falling boulders, rapids, and bathing dinosaurs. Your objective is to get to the end of the river area. Unfortunately, you will end up getting diverted when several dinosaurs block your path. You will need to take an unplanned route to the dino facility. The second part of the level is you on foot after you dock at the main area. You will have to avoid Dilophosaurs and Compsagnathuses as you enter the main facility.

Level 2(Facility): This level has you climbing up 8 levels. Climbing up will require skill as you avoid falling pipes and steam. Be careful. Escaped raptors will attack you at every corner. Finally, after reaching the top make your way through the now evacuated facility. More Dilophasauruses and raptors will chase you so be quick. The loud speakers above will also reveal that you have only 1 minute to get to an evacuation boat. Before you can do anything a massive T-Rex will pursue you to the boat. Once you reach the boat you will get a cut scene of your escape of the facility.

Beating this game will get you 1 Universal Express.

Pteranadon Flyers:

Hop onto your very Pteradactyl and take to the skies. Dip down through trees and try to get through several sets of rings in the air. You will have 5 minutes to get through all 30 rings.

Winning this challenge will get you 1 Universal Express.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter:
Join Harry and friends for a journey into the world of wizards. This massive area fully captures the feel of walking into the world of Harry Potter. The entrance of the land is taken up by Hogsmeade, where you can shop from over 15 stores. This is really a massive magical place.

Activities:
Quidditch- This large quidditch area is the perfect place to accept large challenges. You can win tons of coins by winning these intense challenges. Best 2 out of 3.

Try out a Wand- For 15 coins you can get your very own wand but first, you need to do several tests to make sure that you are getting the perfect wand for yourself.

The Flying Hippogriff:

Jump on the back of a Hippogriff and take off. Go through several challenges of doing tricks in the air, dodging flying pumpkins, hit targets, etc.

You can win from 40 coins to 100 coins depending on what challenge you take.

Dragon Challenge:

Pick between Fire and Ice and get ready for a major battle. You are piloting your very own dragon which has it's own special abilities (depending on which element you pick). Your mission is to defeat the oopposite dragon in a massive clash of elements. Blast him with fire breath or ice breath, tackle him down, slap him with your tail, and more. You have 6 minutes to duel it to the finish.

Winning gets you 1 Universal Express.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey:
Located inside the gantic Hogwart's castle is the massive game Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The queue for the game has some tiny activities of it's own. Talk with talking portraits, play and entertain yourself in some magical classes, locate hidden passages to find hidden coins, get some coins by picking out which team you are on with the sorting hat, and more.

Level 1(Above Hogwarts): Now you get to play as Harry Potter himself. Jump onto a broom stick and take to the skies of Hogwarts. Along the way you get attacked by a Hungarian Horntail. Battle above the skies of Hogwarts and dive in and out of bridges and spires to avoid the deadly dragon. You also need to fire spells at him to cause some damage. To make things harder, dementors will try and take you out too. Fight them off as you try to take care of the dragon. After defeating the dragon A cut scene shows your broom getting knocked into the forbidden forest.

Level 2(Forbidden Forest): In the forbidden forest you are trying to locate you broom which has been knocked far away. To help you out you can cast a spell which will lead you towards the broom. Hidden in the forest are coins as well as centaurs who can give you helpful tips. While traveling down the path of the forbidden forest giant spiders will attack you. Use spells to battle them away and defeat any bigger ones. Once you find your broom you will have to defeat the tree that is guarding it. The whomping willow. A cut scene will show you taking off again.

Level 3(Chamber of Secrets): Another cutscene shows you getting attacked by dementors and finally landing in the Chamber of Secrets. Here you are on foot, trying to escape the chamber as it is caving in. Fight off the dementors by using patronuses. Avoid falling debris and crumbling statues. Once reaching the end of the level you have to jump on your broom and escape the crumbling chamber.

Beating this level gets you 2 Universal Expresses.

The Lost Continent:
Travel back to the original days of Greek culture. Explore market places and bazzars.

Activities:
Mystic Fountain- For 20 coins you can get your fortune told or get sprayed with water. Interestingly enough, if you get a good reply you can make some coins. Bad and you lose them.
