Yes, because a non-dueling coaster would be having this problem. I can totally see the logic in that.

If you read my post and read it clearly then, you clearly would have seen I referenced a style net used on other inverts to catch debris over walkways. It would easily work on DC and has been beat to death on several coaster forums as to why it would. Once again, try again.

I read your post. You were suggesting a taut (you can't spell) net be put in a place where it doesn't belong, and where it would have the noted effect. Putting a net between a dueling vertical loop is NOT the same as putting one over a walkway. :brick:

With supports angling it in a run off it is. :brick:

Honestly, if they did put nets between the loops, and there really is someone doing this on purpose, they would just find another to do it, such as riding the Fire side and throwing things downwards to Ice on the zero G/airtime hill part.

A quick P/S throw lines on to visualize the concept. NoLimits forum members have inserted them into their recreations and all of the clearances show beyond fine. Dead center between the two loops leaves more clearance than other inverts have between guest's lower extremities and the net. Clearances are clearances regardless if it is between two loops or a loop and air. I guess that is a hard comcept for some to grasp. As far as whether the eslasticity would reverse trajectory; that is considered when the net material is chosen. Simple mounting point on the sides of the support structure would easily be doable.

A net would have to be pretty dense to be functional, though, because an object as small as a tiny rock or a penny could hurt someone else. But a denser net would be more of a visual intrusion.
