Cinematic Spectacular is better than Disney's lame castle projection shows, which, are also just "a compilation of film clips".

I actually prefer Cinematic Spectacular over Illuminations as well. I actually think for a show that's supposed to "end the night" it should be like a finale and tie together a lot of the stuff you experienced during the day. Wishes and Fantastic I think accomplish this but Illuminations in my opinion really fails at this. It has a vague story, incredibly over dramatic for what it is and really has some long gaps that are very weak with basically just music playing.

Is this a joke? The show is called "Cinematic Spectacular". The very name of the event enforces a focus on the company's films.

What has the name got to do with anything? But seen as you go there, the term 'CINEMATIC SPECTACULAR' doesn't to me equate to a cobbling together of old Universal films into a montage over the lake. When i see the term SPECTACULAR i expect dizzy dazzling effects, something that hits my senses, emotions, makes me want to scream - and some nice visuals like fireworks at work.

I assume you use the word SPECTACULAR in other ways, eg. that walk to the shops was spectacular. That peice of toast was spectacular. etc etc

But like i say, not sure why you are fixated on the naming of the show. It's a poor show end off.

I don't know, what's in a name? "Soarin' over California," "Space Mountain," "Carousel of Progress;" what's in a name?

You seem to have mis read the connotation of the post. The other poster was saying 'what did i expect when the show was called Cinematic spectacular'.

My point was Universal should have some new shows, and or perhaps a new nightitme show. The poster was merely saying Cinematic spectacular was a mind blowing experience. When i said it wasn't, he said what did i expect when the show is called 'Cinematic spectacular'. I was merely pointing out what has the name of the show got to do with anything.

Then you came along to make no sense.

Didn't make sense to me either.

Actually, he referred you to Universal's cinematic background in his response to the name of the show.

But, something else for your p&m routine, I suppose....

Proven wrong where? I think you'll read that most replies are in agreement that Universal do need to improve their shows. That's not to say they aren't doing great things with new attractions and all. But surely as a forum we can discuss every fawcett of their experience. And that includes some of the not so great aspescts of Universal - in this case they have a poor show output, as well as a non existant night time show.

How am i proven wrong? Unless perhaps you believe their shows are brilliant and do not need upgrading.

Mind you i do give a disclaimer that what Universal doing with their parks is stunning.

Who said you were proven right or wrong anywhere? Or are you simply looking for yet another argument?

It's a discussion forum. You would like a two millionth post about the nostalgic value of a 'It's a small world' ... but others would like some far reaching discussions. Each to their own.

I'm all for discussion, but neverending p&m routines get tiresome. Particularly when they make no sense....

e able to hear, they do have a few small flaws ... namely they don't have great shows (in my opinion). If you disagree that's fine and share your feelings - if you feel Fear Factor, Sinbad are shows of high quality then that's fair enough. But if like myself and most others feel they could improve then that's another point of view.

So i am not entirely sure what part of the subject didn't quite make sense to you? If anything your moaning about the subject makes little sense, because you haven't been able to articulate why it bothers you so much.

But hey ho, if you want to go back in the Disney forum and discuss the joys of 'The adventures of Stich' attraction i will join you.

How would you say they have a "non-existent" nighttime show? If you don't like it I get that but to say non existent is just being blind to reality. Personally I think CineSpec is better than all 3 of Disney's nighttime shows.

I'm dropping out of this conversation, but only because you're truly not making any sense. Never did I say you were proven wrong about the Cinematic Spectacular, but you keep banging that particular drum.

And as for your so-called "discussions," your posts and threads have become nothing more than an incessant routine of complaints and contradictions. Instead of doing that, perhaps changing your tone some would garner you better responses than the ones your current routine gets....
