Why’s tower look like something you’d see at a 2000s outdoor mall in a roundabout across from a Victoria’s Secret and Nike store? Guess that’s what happens when a park’s theme is Unrelated IP Portals.

I don't know if I fully agree with that exact description, but I do agree it doesn't look great. Tbh, the entirety of Celestial Mall or whatever it is looks incredibly uninspired (so maybe you're right about the tower's theme lol), though the other lands look great. But yeah, I think a big part of that is it a direct result of the Park not having an actual cohesive theme. Theming an entire hub to an abstract version of "space" seems kind of a bad idea when most people will experience it during the day. Maybe it'll look better in person

The Chronos Tower with it's weenie in motion looks great, IMO.

Good luck to them to keep it in working order day after day exposed to the elements.
I think it looks great at night. Perhaps less so during the day time. I think Islands will continue to be their park with the best theming but I’m still hoping for great rides here. Islands is hard to beat (for me).

I wasn't too impressed with the theming at Islands -- liked Jurassic Park, Hogsmeade, and the Lost Continent (other than there being almost nothing actually there) but Superhero Island, Toon Lagoon, and Seuss Landing were not great (although Seuss Landing may have been better if it was cleaned/painted).

Since this park seems to be heavy on the nighttime experience, if during the slowtimes they reduce hours, do you think they'll open later to stay open into the nighttime hours?
Like say, open at 11 rather than 9? Cutting out the morning hours rather than the night hours.

Holy cow.

Genuinely a groundbreaking meet and greet. I can't think of many characters Disney could use this wi- oh right, Simba, Dumbo, Bambi, etc...
Bambi would had been perfect for an AA Meet and Greet character at the parks. He's the perfect Disney Character to translate into a fully fledged AA figure that could actually meet guests.

Disney would turn heads if they used this tech for Simba. But instead Universal is going to steal this medal.

Don't worry! I hear two D23s from now they'll showcase a Simba that works 10x worse and costed 10x more!

Wait, Simba? I meant a random Star Wars alien: Glup Shiito. Can't use that tech for anything too big.
I believe an AA Character of Simba and Nala's Cub form would translate better before revisiting Simba's adult form.

I just think they’ll move fireworks to weekend-only those weeks. They’ve never committed to year-round nighttime entertainment. Can’t even run the Hogwarts show nightly, which is crazy.

A lot of assumptions about Epic’s operations assume that Universal will somehow become a fundamentally different company after this May.

I’d love for that to be true but we have no reason not to expect limited operating hours and sporadic entertainment scheduling, especially considering they’ll now be responsible for a double-digit percentage increase of new employees.

Wouldn’t be a horrible strategy! That’s what Spanish theme parks do. Universal could sell park hoppers by encouraging people to visit IoA/USF first.

Yes for example the Pokémon ride rumored to replace Simpsons we don’t know it won’t just be a reskin of the same ride But everyone assumes it will be a brand new build

If it happens so be it. We ar finally getting a brand new theme park and it already can't win. It hasn't even opened yet and it's getting picked apart.

I feel the theme park fanbase is more critical of parks than the enthusiast community is. I used it think they were bad.
