Alot of the existing back of house from the old parks is moving here right? Is there any substantial space gains in the old parks for them to grow more after those moves?
Not really, there are still available expansion pads(or rides to replace/update) at both parks before they do any drastic changes.

You can always replace an attraction, but there's only one place left to actually expand in IOA, in Seuss Landing. USF can be expanded, but they would need to get a bit creative and/or replace certain backstage functions.

You were saying back in January that construction was full go. Here we are nearly 12 months later, and all we have is a 'water plant'?

It's not being a troll to actually suggest this project has some serious issues that we aren't all aware off.

I've heard this claim, but I can't really see any area where this could happen. Just from Google Earth, I can't find anything that looks like an expansion plot.

You are correct, but I would consider the Sinbad and Toon Lagoon theater as expansion plots since they are just sitting there not being used and not really counting as a replacement since they have been inactive.

IOA can be expanded next to Cat in the Hat. If you're referring to USF, it can be expanded in a number of places, the most obvious of which is the former Nickelodeon/Blue Man space potentially being returned to the park.

Another option is removing the building used for private events next to the NY library facade, across from Mummy. There's more than enough space there for an attraction, especially if you build behind the facade.

A third option is relocating the Sprung tents and various trailers to build something between MIB and Simpsons. Even without encroaching on the parade buildings, there's still enough space there for a massive attraction or even a smaller land.

If the older parade building is ever deemed redundant, that space can be used to expand Kidzone or whatever replaces it.

Tear down Rockit and you now have two empty spaces to work with, the field across from Blue Man and behind the Ghostbusters firehouse.

Less likely is the possibility that Universal decides they can do without one or more of their front lot soundstages.

Another unlikely option is relocating the entertainment building behind Horror Make-up to expand Hollywood.

There's other areas im not ready to go into yet but full analysis of available space here:

Looking like we should see some construction start on the EU Helios Hotel parking garage and Potter land area soon as permits have started to be dropped for those areas

Permit filed this morning with Orange County appears to be related to the hotel at the back of Epic Universe. It is listed as "Parking Garage" in the description. Project 910 is thought to be for the hotel at the back of the park, and this particular permit is for P910G.

I wonder if this could go in EU
iirc it's been strongly speculated for a while that it'll be part of the park?
