We know it's not, though.If(—-a huge if indeed—- )that pool of 2k is a proper mix of population then it should easily be statistically reliable.
Reviews aren't scientific polls. The mix is never "proper" which is why fewer always lead to sketchy results.
I'm not saying I think the Google review scores are artificially low. Plenty of those recent 5 star reviews seem dubious at best, too if you read through some of them* but with the numbers as low as they are, they're easier to review bomb in both directions than a James Gunn movie on opening weekend. Just based on (some of) the mix of people in this very thread, I think there are enough crazies out there to do it.
*unless these were preview guests coming in late with their reviews. I had a 5 star experience during my days with the preview when crowds were minimal, waits were low, attraction up-time was good and employees were excited to be there but that's a whole other issue when it comes to looking at the reviews
