Still no single day tickets less than 90 days out. A lot of people I know are waiting for non-package tickets to come out for them to buy tickets. People in universal circles (IU to be exact) and forums saying they’ve heard from ticket booking people that it’s lower than expected.
Universal isn’t going to fumble a park opening for a THIRD time!

I think this may have more to do with market conditions than Universal. Lots of reports about Americans' tightening their wallets. Hopefully, that translates to better deals soon.

IMHO it's not a big deal and I'll enjoy it . 11 rides, 5 of them rollercoasters, but things unknown right now are how long the lines may be, will the food be any good (besides looking pretty in pictures) and will there be enough distinction for repeat rides ?

Yeah. Especially with…events. Universal trying to push the long term packages aren’t really helping too.
I just don’t want to have universe studios escape 2.0. For the most part I don’t think it’ll be on that scale, but with all I mentioned in my previous post and what you said, I’m starting to get a little bit worried. Not that much, but it’s there.

That netting on the werewolf coaster…. Thanks, I hate it.
I’m wondering if we had a beautiful little needle thread for UC giving us Epic. The bulk of Epic looks good, Hagrid and Velocicoaster are good.
Any of the things developed before or after (this werewolf coaster, VillainsCon, Dreamworks land, Universal Kids) seem like a serious regression.

Panic that there weren’t enough rides. The domino of the second Potter attraction being axed, then led to the Monsters show being replaced with a ride. Given the timing, they probably couldn’t have pulled off anything more elaborate for opening day than the coaster. Plus the cost of the park was rapidly ballooning.
I would trade this one for the show back, in a heartbeat.

Villains Con, Dreamworld Land and Universal Kids are all aimed at a younger demographic. Villain Con is fun and chaotic. Not a masterpiece but a good filler attraction. Dreamworks Land has been very popular for kids and is an impovement on Kidine. Universal Kids isn't even open yet so how can we know what it's actually like?

I am getting more excited as the opening approaches! This new theme park will be amazing!
Its fine folks don't like it, or want to find fault with it.
It doesn't matter, this place is going to be MOBBED!
My only concern is huge wait times for attractions.
Lets see what happens.

This is the thing I’m most excited for in this land. Flying dragons! Awesome!
If only they had built that rumored simulator ride where you actually FLEW the dragons too. Kind of baffling the land doesn't have a true flying experience. Looks great otherwise

I was saying this land needs 1 more ride a few pages back. Something that’s not an off the shelf flat ride or a roller coaster.

Echoing Brian here, it’s hard to tell what impact Veloci actually has had. Its release coincided with the spike of post-pandemic revenge tourism and now things have stabilized to 2019-or-worse numbers. I also think you can argue Hagrid’s plays a role, and a larger role at that.Velocicoaster didn't bring in any crowds to IoA?

Everyone has underplayed Berk but ME!!! I think this land will be the sleeper hit of the park, probably on par or edging out Celestial Park.
Monsters has the Net Coaster (as fun as I think it'll be, I will admit it does look... weird).
SNW has been done two times before this, abelit will likely be new to residents of Florida.
Potter has been done two time before in Florida and is largely based off of a spin-off series of films that bombed....
I feel REALLY confident Berk is gonna really stick the landing, and yes, I'm biased! I'm biased! I love HTTYD WDWMagic!!! I LOVE HTTYD!!!
This has to be the most excited I've ever been for a theme park land, and if it had a flight simulator I'd be even more heads over heels for this land. My wallet cries in fear of the merch and the money I'll give my friend who lives near Uni to get said merch.

It is funny that Isle of Berk will be cursed with the same “underrated/underappreciated” label that the franchise itself always gets.

Hopefully with the new movie it will make it a bigger hit. For me the IP is not a draw, for that matter the only IP I know is Nintendo and Monsters. Then again IP has never been a draw for me. I don't care about seeing any of these characters come to life or visit their land. Give me a great ride over and of that.
