Apparently the nets will have projetions

Ok but that doesn't change anything during the day (that does sound awesome at night tho)
It appears the projections are going to be on the outside netting (straight up and down). The U-shaped netting surrounding the track doesn’t appear in any of the renderings.

In other words, it looks like there will be netting blocking your view of the netting with projections.

There's no other netting in between that turn, the part of the ride where you're presumably meant to be looking at the projections, and the straight netting surrounding it.

In the section closest to the netting with nighttime projections there is nothing in the way. But there are other sections where you’ll be able to see the projected netting at night but it will be obscured by the netting surrounding the track.

In any event, this coaster is hideous compared to Hiccup’s.

Disney would turn heads if they used this tech for Simba. But instead Universal is going to steal this medal.

Don't worry! I hear two D23s from now they'll showcase a Simba that works 10x worse and costed 10x more!

Wait, Simba? I meant a random Star Wars alien: Glup Shiito. Can't use that tech for anything too big.
*Stitch appears* Hey, that's not Simba!

Yes, even if it has projections for the 1 hour of night the park is open, it shouldn’t be hideous during the 9 to 12 hours of daylight.

Awful design decision that negatively impacts the land. Just visit at night, I guess, while simultaneously waiting for fireworks.

I'm not anti-net for coaster projectile safety, but I am heavily against the lack of rockwork or other thematic structures that could have acted as a safety feature between guests and the attraction itself.

A nice wall themed to ruins of an old castle/structure would have worked (like Hagrid's) or a wooden fence themed to "capturing" the werewolf within its boundaries.

While Epic Universe will be fantastic, Universal loves to drop the ball in the red zone often when it comes to finalizing thematic touches (FJ show building, Hagrid's drop building, etc.)

In slightly better theming news, they've actually painted the Monsters showbuilding so it will blend in more than Forbidden Journey's showbuilding does

I like that they did this, but I wish they built a proper berm of foliage between the queue and showbuilding.

There are a couple of areas throughout Epic that could have benefited from a berm (especially HTTYD), but we shall see.
