Why can't people just enjoy the park for what it is?You are just critically thinking which is something that is missing around here.
Try not to do it too much, the locals here despise it.

The numbers come from anylists - Universal doesn't release numbers. But the park is an estimated $6-7 billion investmentI’m sure the 2 B hotel had nothing to do with that. Lol. Most expensive park ever. lol. Just like Universal has 4 theme parks. We all know Uni uses wonky #’s.
Berk is great except for its AWFUL sight lines. Disney would never hear the end of it with these sight lines.
Do you think some of the sightline issues are still a work-in-progress or can be remedied within the remaining weeks prior to opening? I know 70 days will fly by quickly, but for something like themed walls (ex: The NYC and SF skylines formerly at DHS when Streets of America was a thing), something along those lines but themed to EU possibly forthcoming? Or trees/berms? That's probably not happening given the time remaining, but just curious how much is yet to be completed.Apparently you don't just see the back of other parts of the park in Berk, you can see outside of the park completely from ground level.
I don't have the attachment to Universal like I do with Disney. TBH I am not drawn to Disney or Universal for the IP. What drew me to Disney was the immersiveness of the parks, not Cars, not Winnie the Pooh and not Star Wars.Right back at you kiddo. This statement is Taylor made for you brother!
ive been there on the ground!!! I agree but the execution feels cheap in some places It’s like they took a throwing e against the wall approach.
Maybe I shouldn’t sit this one out.
Too high.Appears to be the same/comparable pricing as single day passes for MK.
Definitely too high for what's currently being offered. MK has more rides, shows, food etc.Too high.![]()
A bit surprised by this play. Universal definitely seems like they have confidence. Hope this works out for them.Definitely too high for what's currently being offered. MK has more rides, shows, food etc.
"But moth, it's 50 years old", yeah but still.
I'm stillborn going to EU but woof.
I think the high prices are to keep capacity down for the first year or so. I guarantee the prices will stabilize around $150~ in the long run.A bit surprised by this play. Universal definitely seems like they have confidence. Hope this works out for them.
It is way to expensive. Even with all the hype n
Well, it isn't working. Just saw somewhere that the entire month of June is already gone lol. Crazy stuffI think the high prices are to keep capacity down for the first year or so. I guarantee the prices will stabilize around $150~ in the long run.
I disagree. It makes the 3 park tickets look better and IMO they are hoping more will opt for that. The goal with Epic is make Universal a 4-5 day visit.Definitely too high for what's currently being offered. MK has more rides, shows, food etc.

Courtesy of COVID this little project is near to 7B

@lazyboy97o has been saying $6B, and doing so well after COVID was "over."
I'd trust that number from him unless he revises it.
The South Campus will likely exceed $7 billion by the time Epic Universe opens.
I said $6+ and the end of big projects like this are really good at sucking up resources. Finally total may be quite eye watering. It was already a $6+ billion project before the pandemic.
It is the world’s most expensive theme park. It also has a lot less capacity than Universal Studios Beijing which is why people shouldn’t get their hopes to high about the next park. They realize they’ve got some cost control issues.I’m guessing $8-9. I don’t see this park ending up cheaper than Beijing.
