Which is not the point that was being discussed? It was nice 15 minute shady garden walk vs a "hike" and others started with the comparisons of shade to hot and open then others started with the transport options.

To me, the more "quaint" feel of Universal vs. the expansive WDW is nicer for a "theme park-centric" vacation.
When staying on property at WDW...if you're visiting all 4 parks and solely using Disney transportation, it's not convenient. If I'm at the Poly and want to go to Animal Kingdom, it's not exactly a short trip.
From waiting for a bus to arrive, to the actual drive time, there is a reason Disney tells you to leave an hour of travel time to get to your ADR. Skyliner does help immensely for those resorts/parks that can utilize it.

Universal seems like it's all right there no matter which resort you stay in (maybe less so with Endless Summer).

I will definitely admit that when you enter the gates of WDW, it does feel like you're in a different place and you're not just at a resort filled with theme parks and hotels.

While I'm at it...driving to Magic Kingdom could be the worst of them all. It could take an hour to get through the gates after you park!

This park looks great but Im kinda iffy about each world having 1 entrance/exit. Im not a fan of dead ends and I really like how at DL the lands have multiple entrances and exits and loop around

I've been having the same concern. I'm worried it'll make the park feel more rigid and less natural, forcing you to use the hub rather than naturally making your way around. Plus it's less convienent, as you have to double back any time you swap lands, ala Sunset Blvd. I've already experienced the portal idea at SNW in Hollywood and I guess it's fine for a single land, but an entire park with that design seems tiresome, and feels like a step back in design.

Fake edit: Still super excited for the park otherwise!

This is the land I’m most excited for in terms of anticipation. This and Nintendo are my top two, I’m a massive potterhead so I’m biased. Need more details on the actual attraction.

Nintendo / DK, Dark Universe, Fantastic Beasts / HP 3 - I'm so ridiculously stoked for all 3!
"Smallest building is larger than the smallest building in Diagon Alley" - is just a crazy scale thing which is very neat to hear them comment themselves. You can feel their earnest excitement!

H2TYD - little less excited about this land, but a new roller coaster and some scenery to look at, plus hopefully the Dragon show (as well as the Fantastic Beast Paris stage show) have a great capacity to give people something to do / off their feet!

If this park can start having visitors May First - we are 9 months aways. Worst case scenario, 10 months?!
TIME SPEED UP PLEASE lol.
