Welp. Went to universal this weekend, first on dueling dragons at IOA I put my wallet/phone/keys in the locker. After the ride I went to pick up my stuff, I guess the locker section i rented malfunctioned so one of the workers just asked me what number locker i was, i told him, he opened up and i just took my stuff, verified nothing.. Another case happened later that day when I went on hollywood rocket at studios, the finger print scanner was not working for me, so I told the employee my locker number, he unlocked it for me and I took my stuff, again no verifying what was in the locker....

Kinda worries me about the locker security and leaving my belongings in it..

Not been my experience at all. I often forget my number and it does not recognize my scan so I have to get help. The attendant (is not a TM) open the locker but I get a through grilling about what is in there and if I have pictures on my phone or tablet. Never any pictures (maybe I should take one for show and tell) but when I pull an identical pair of frames off my face and put on the dark colored ones that gets me my stuff. Pretty good security, I mean what is it? Just $1000 worth of stuff and my digital life :angelic::hungover:

I am rarely able to get the fingerprint reader to work, but every time I have had an attendant help me they have had me verify what is in the locker.

Same. On the rare occasions I could not remember the locker number (or time ran out), I have been asked to verify what was in the locker, and once or twice was asked what the background picture on my iPhone was.

The employee is supposed to verify with you the contents of the locker before turning things over to you. At least this was the policy last year. (Source: Friend worked security for Universal Studios). He chewed out another employee while we were visiting for just opening up lockers for people and not checking to make sure it was actually theirs.

If this happens again, make note of their name, the location, and the time. Make sure to let Universal know.

Although locker attendants are not team members and work for a third party it should still be reported at guest services. Name would be good, time and location if not.
