Unique situation--maybe you can help...

I'm moving to Florida. Sure, I'll be getting my APs, but just not yet. My friend's son is helping with the roadtrip from Colorado, and once we move in, I'll have him back on the plane back.

However, it looks like we could, realistically, be done by Friday morning and he'll fly out on Saturday morning. I can't see us spending a full day at the park--but is there a half-day ticket for EPCOT? Something like after four pm, we can run over and visit, maybe it one ride and have food?

Online has a special pass for after 4pm (a form of annual pass), but, no, I'll get an AP when my husband finishes selling the house, and that might be a while. I'm just thinking for this one day and I thought I could run him over, grab a decent meal, let him get some gifts, maybe even catch the fireworks.

Or am I being silly?:shrug:

I don't believe there is a half day ticket.
Instead of going to a park, you could have a nice dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge or some other really nice themed hotel.
You could eat dinner at one of the MK resorts and watch the fireworks from there. Something 'Disney', but without paying park admission.

After 2PM and After 4PM tickets do exist, but they're only available to guests who're attending a convention in WDW. There's no other way to get them.

Best to find some non-park activities as the other poster suggested.

Excellent, and the answers I was looking for! Thanks so much. Maybe we can hit DtD and a movie. I'll see if he's game or just wants to crash on my couch for a bit.
