Unexpected Bill

We had storms here really bad today. Our power kept going off and on then stayed off for a long time.

I have a question for some of you weather Experts.....Everytime we had a lightning strike close to our house, right before it happened one of my daughters electronic games would sound off, then we'd have a HUGE crash. Does anyone know why this happens? We had another game I had to take the batteries out of because it would always do it too, it would turn the game on. Very strange, but it does it everytime lightning strikes by the house, and the game sounds a bit before you hear the Crash.

Not positive...but it could be because of a power surge. Are they hooked to surge protectors?

You might have seen us on the news or something... Us here in Slidell had Bill pass straight through us! They're saying it's passed us now... No more storming, just heavy winds really. I'm fine with it, though... got me out of work!! :sohappy:

No, that's the strange thing, it's batteries. It pretty much freaked me out the first time it happened. It was with the game "You Don't Know Jack" and when that thing starts up it's soooo loud and annoying. But it's not just that game now, I took the batteries out of it after it happened several times. Now it's a different toy, also run on batteries.

Hope all you Louisiana folks are doing ok. I haven't watched the news any this week, so I didn't know what's been happening. I usually keep up better than this.:o

Maria I have a question for you.
In America most of the gardeners are Mexican
so are they mostly American in Mexico? j/k

I am also just as good at landscaping as I am at cleaning kitchen's
I just love to trim bushes.
