It's no secret that part of the experience is the parties.
And hear me when I say, I am not a partier and I don't intend to spend all my off time parting. But I do want to join in the festivities from time to time.
My concern is that I will only be 20 during my time in the program. I just want to be able to let lose and get relaxed by drinking a beer or two.
My question is how strictly does Disney monitor the parties and who do they kno if you are underaged? Is there a wristband system or do they just go around randomly asking for IDs?
I kno Disney is extrely strike with their policies. U get cought an u r gone.
But how often do people get cought? How easy is it to get away with?
I'm looking for advice from those of u who have been there and kno how it works.
Thanks guys!!

If there is alcohol in your apartment even if your roommates are 21 you will be kicked out of the college program.

I know people who got through their whole CP without getting caught and others that were expelled within a week of arrival.

I think the bigger question is why is drinking so important that you are willing to break the law and lose an opportunity to work at WDW?

My impression (and that's all it is...I was 21 on my program, and didn't have to worry) is that Disney doesn't go around "checking" for alchohol, but if you're in an underage apartment that's known for loud, wild parties, then odds are you'll get caught...i.e., it may not entirely depend on what YOU do as much as what the people AROUND you do.

Not to preach because it's your life, but I really agree with jakeman. I don't see how it's worth the risk. (Especially if you're only going to have a beer every now and then. If you're going to risk getting tossed, might as well go all out and get a few good stories out of it.) :lookaroun

I think you have your answer. People have been thrown out of the program for underage drinking. People have been arrested for underage drinking.

Are you really willing to take a chance on getting in trouble based upon some stranger on the internet saying, "Don't worry. No one ever gets caught. Go right ahead."?
