It's been just over a year since the wand and stars completely came down at Epcot.

What are your final thoughts and opinions, and please no big ball wand hate and no references to the merfcove or mirror column. :lookaroun :lol:

I miss it. When I went to WDW for the first time in 1976, there was no Epcot. When I started going as an adult, it just seems like it's always been there and for it to be gone is sad in some way.

While going to growing up over the years, you get used to Spaceship Earth w/out the wand. It was nice when it had 2000, but it should have come down a lot sooner.

Now, about the Studio's hat.... :lookaroun

Ditto. It was great for the Millennium, but EPIC Fail when it came to the Epcot sign. That was futuristic,how? World Culture, how?

It never made sense, in a park like EPCOT.

It also diminished the look of SSE. A huge silver geosphere, the first of its kind looks impressive and magical enough without a billboard next to it.
