We'll get a better turnout with a more central location. Got to say, I don't reckon Alton Towers much but people from all over the UK could get there without too much fuss.

Drayton Manor is good as well :sohappy:

Barnstorm opens this year, with a lift hill that suspends you upside down, with only a lapbar :D

From a selfish Standpoint the Surrey venues are good as my folks live in Surrey, which makes for a convenient overnight stop.

Even more convenient, we can go to where bungy jumping started, off the Clifton Suspesion Bridge :D

the barnstorm looks a little short................ are you sure that isnt the tube layout for the new crush n gusher.

i wish i could go to all the europe parks. after plane tix over there, park tix, train, etc etc i probably wouldnt have enough pounds to stay anywhere.

i guess if i planned it right, i could just sleep on the trains when i travelled at night. it worked on that journey from london to scotland once before (but that had a lot to do with all the alcohol :D )

I'm game. Do you want to meet after Thursday's game against Eastern, or wait for a possible show-down Saturday with the Bearcats? BW-3 would be my choice of locations. Either the one in West Chester or Forest Park.

I haven't voted but only because I really don't mind where, I would love to put faces to names at last, as Glen considers everyone my "imaginary friends"!

So put me down as a "yes" but don't mind where

Anyone have an idea for a non-British theme park venue. They always seem a bit of a dissapointment after Disney.

 Scandelous! Thorpe Park is great IMO. Amity Cove is very well themed.

How about a Slap-Up Lunch then?

Heading for the great escape.
Used to be a regular at Thorpe when I lived in Ruislip. Ive never actually been to Drayton manor because the kids go their with the school and would rather go to Alton Towers.

I've never been been to Thorpe Park, but I'd take your word on it :D

That round drum expels a fireball every so often, and the water that's up in the air... well that will be back down on the boat that made it in a few seconds. :D
