Never had a chance to get home last week, I am definately going home tomorrow afternoon though so aslong as I get down to Lakeside the photos should be coming...

i have one pic of our charatcer zone which atm is remy for the dvd release...
hehe, yea im in the all the time, im seniour cast now which is fantastic!!!!!
yea our store was the first, then manchester... we are the only two stores with the new look, but i believe some re-fits are to happen this year i believe, and we are also getin new tills end of the year aswell, they are all going touch screen and the guest themselves will get a screen with the details too, which is wiked news!!!!
we also had a popwer ranger visit few weeks back was wiked aswell, very busy

Excellent news, great to hear that even after the stores massive refurbishment they are still being given the TLC that they deserve, if only the Childrens Place offered the same for the Disney Stores over in the USA.

yea its kool, i know, id love the children corners there, but becasue the stores in the usa aint owned by disney, they can add stuff, i want a charatcer zone like the new york one,, it has a charatcer room, where all different charatcers appear, now that wuld b wiked, and i wuld soo do that at lakeside, id love to be a charatcer....
i do love lakeside tho, we are the only store like it!, manchester doesnt even come close......., we started out hannah comepition today, which is wiked, and on the 1st march we have hannah motana kariokie ( i cnt spell)

Its such a great shop, as you can see the front of the store changes colour, when that happens the border around the inside of the shop changes aswell, there is a large circular screen in the middle of the store promoting all things Disney from DVDs to the Parks to TV shows. Behing the counter at the back of the store are a number of monitors all showing different content with some smaller screens built into the till table its self. There are also "eggs" on a track all around the store that move along with different plushed toys inside.

i am quite impressed that you were able to get pics with no cast in, boo hoo.theres 99% a cast member on front to greet and talk up items, which is where i usualy am
but im surprised you were able to take pictures, as this isnt really aloud in disney. but as you can see, the store is fab.
the circular tower is called the 'heart' of disney, and it displays adverts and such of the whole disney network, it changes 4 times a year with every quater. Currently, we have lots of hannah motana to promte the big compeition we have started to make peolpe popstars.
THe tv's at the till point show the 4 diffferent channels, we have mickey mouse club house on one, power rangers mystic force, hanah motanah, then the other screen is just playhouse disney, they are on a 10min loop.
starting today, the whole store has had a facelift, and it has all changed around, so nothing is in the same place as the pics.

just to give you an update... disney stores will be doing small treasure hunts in the store for kids theme to mft&p. And if u get it right, you get a award thing and amask which is really kool, should start on monday... hannah is still going tho
