Typhoon Lagoon Question

We are taking our 2 yr old (almost 3 yr old) to Typhoon Lagoon. I know that there is a kids play area, but my question is, are there any larger slides that he could ride with me? We have been to Blizzard Beach, and he was able to do Teamboat Springs with my wife and I. I think there are a couple of family-type raft rides at TL as well. Also, is there a minimum number of riders on the family raft rides? (could just the two of us go if he is big enough?) Thanks for your help-

There are some slides (I think 3) that are called the Storm Slides. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but they are pretty slow and meandering and he could probably sit in your lap as you go down in your inner tube. Can't remember if you have to carry the tube up or not (some have a conveyor belt). Whatever they're called, these are actually my favorite slides! After climbing those stairs and waiting in line, it's nice to enjoy a slide that isn't over in 1/2 a second!!

Also - to answer your question about the family raft...yes, I think there is a minimum of at least four people. We had to wait (my husband and I) for another group (of two) to come along and ride with us. We've had to do this every time we visit and want to ride the family raft. Not a big deal as usually everyone who rides with us is really nice!

Just wanted to make some corrections. There are no slides at Typhoon where you can go down together, with the exception of the family raft ride. HOWEVER only 2 slides have height limits (crush and Humunga Cowabunga) and on all the other slides, you are welcome to stay at the bottom and catch him/her. You just need to notify the lifeguard that's what you are doing. Storm Slides does not have a tube and the water at the bottom is very deep (over 4 feet). Just something to keep in mind.
