Wifi at the water parks? WTH. That never even occurred to me. Lulz
Yeah, it is a little scary. Surrounded by all that green vegetation, lovely sand, cool water, and awesome slides but they need to be on the Internet. Oops, excuse me for a moment while I pick up an ice cream at Typhoon Tilly's. I'll finish this post later.Wifi at the water parks? WTH. That never even occurred to me. Lulz
Its good for the people who don't want to go swimming and are just there to stay with the family. But the whole wifi thing in all the parks should only be for the next gen use. You are on vacation people... ERGHHH
And sometimes, I have an urge for a particular song as I'm relaxing in a lounge chair, maybe reading a book while I bake in the sun. If I don't have it on my iPod, I can now use Spotify, Pandora, etc. and my vacation is now better because I got exactly what I wanted while I was relaxing. I love the details and theme of Typhoon as much as anyone, but honestly, its not much more than a glorified beach with water slides for me. And what do I do at the beach/pool? I pull out my iPod and a book while I lounge around. Sometimes vacation is more like everyday life than some here make it out/want it to be for some.
I'm as much against an idiot pulling out the iPad and spending all day on it walking around one of the theme parks as you are, but I see the many ways the wifi service will also enhance my vacation outside of NextGen, especially when it comes to my quiet time at Typhoon, in this instance.
