Typhoon Lagoon Cabanas?

Hi! We are going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time tomorrow. I know to get there well before the 9am opening time in order to get a shot at a covered cabana.

Where is the best spot to find one and how do you get there from the front gate? We don't have little ones so we don't need to be near the kiddie area.

Also, if I bring a small cooler, is it safe to leave it there? Has anyone had anything come up missing from your cabana area?

I must be out of the loop because I didn't realize there were cabanas at TL (and I worked there sometimes during my internship last year :lol but in general, I wouldn't leave anything out that you wouldn't want stolen. I personally haven't had issues with it, but I always lock up things like my change of clothes, keys, cell phone, etc.

If you bring your own food and drinks, just remember you can't bring anything alcoholic or in glass bottles. Have fun! :wave:

My favorite spot for covered seating is just before the shark reef. It is close to Typhoon Tilly's and pretty low traffic.

I have to second this too, if you are one of the first people in the park I would head straight over there to score a shaded seating area to rest all your stuff at! Typhoon Lagoon is somewhat of a shaded park with lots of trees and bushes, so if you look around first thing in the morning you should be able to find a good spot.
