Types of WDW Planning Video's and DVD's

As I understand it, from gathering pieces here and there, there are different types of planning video's/dvd's available.

Several of us have been discussing it and here are the questions we have open at this time:

1. What different types are availble? Here is partial list based on rumors and/or fact. Can you confirm a type on this list? Can you add a type to this list?

Family
GrandParents
Handicapped
Couples

2. How do you get/order a specific type?

If you have some facts, please share! We'd love to figure this out. I'd like to see them all, but don't know what all is - yet.

Thanks

My video is a family one. I ordered it from the web site and The way they judge which tape you get is by the answers to the questions they ask. For me one of the questions was were we going with kids and even though we aren't, I felt that a video for kids would be great for a first timmer to see. Also, I felt that the couples would be too adult for us seeing as I am going with my boyfrien and neither of us are older than 19.

Alright, lets say, you state you are 25 and traveling with no kids, you will get the standard vacation planning video. If you say you have kids and they are young you will get a video more geared towards preschoolers. If you say you are a grandparent you will get the video for grandparents. And so on.....

Then there is the choice of format, DVD or VHS.

How long does it take to get the DVD or VHS? I ordered my DVD in late March and still haven't received it.

It depends on the mass mailing schedule. I received my dvd in about 4 weeks. In the past some VHS have showed up in as little as 2 weeks.

PreFam version: something like age 20 with no kids.
Fam version: something like age 50 with 2 kids.
PostFam: something like 55 with no kids.

Other version? I don't know.

You get the video or DVD that you sign up to get. You can get
the general one or there is one for preschoolers. I have ordered
them online and got them within 2 to 4 weeks. I first got the
video, then heard there was more information available on
the DVD, so I ordered that online. If you don't get them within
a month I would order another one. I have had better luck getting
them faster if I order them online rather than calling the 800
number you see advertised on TV.

Thanks for the link. Just ordered it. Is there anything special on the DVD that you don't get from the VHS? Also, what about Disneyland? Can you order a DVD for there also?

last year's version came with some interactive kind of stuff. You could see the room layouts for the hotels, and they had a bunch of funny commercials on it for the rides. These were not commercials that were shown on tv. They actually had more extras than those DVDs that you can buy down at the parks for $29.95 only these are free.

Order you free DVD here!

I always order the one for kids even though me and my sis are 20 and 19. That way, we get the videaos that pertian more to us. We don't care too mcuh for PI and nightlife outside of theme parks. Also, I dont like how there is an omission of the classical slow rides from the prefam videos.

So I alway say we have children for the better video, even if they do concentrate a lot on the parades as well.

Yay for 400 posts!!! Thanks to everyone who has helped me reach this mark, LOL.

I tried ordering the DVD twice and always got the VHS. Stupid Disney...

Anyways, if you guys get it this time, let us know, I can try again...
Oh, and by the way, I just ordered the VHS and it just mentions Where Magic Lives, it doesn't say anything about PhilharMagic or Space.
