I'm taking my 2 granddaughters to WDW (ages 7&8) at the end of September, we're staying at CBR. This their first trip, any suggestions. I want them to really enjoy it. I went there in 2000 with my wife and a son, but this time it is me and the girls.

I would suggest making the MK the first place you visit.
Have you made any reservations? Try to book a character meal if you can (my girls always loved Chef Mickey's). Get each an autograph book and a good pen and be prepared to stand and wait while they visit their favorites. Make sure you take PLENTY of photos and make double prints (are the girls sisters? If not then make 3 sets). Maybe get them each a disposable camera so they can take photos as well. Make sure you get somebody to take a phot of the three of you together. If you haven't done so already get a planning book for them...WDW for Kids, By Kids by Birnbaum is a nice one; they can then start making a list of the MUST see, Want to see and Will see if we have time. Make sure you build in rest periods during the day even if they want to go, go go! It's their first trip and they will be overwhelmed so you need to keep control. Get a notarized statement from the parents that allows you to seek medical treatment for them if necessary and get a copy of the insurance info. Emergencies are always treated, but a non emergency will be pushed back until they get permission from a parent or guardian. Make sure they have all necessary medications (if they take any) and pack some kid's tylenol or motrin, some bandaids and antibiotic ointment just in case.

But my biggest advice is to relax and enjoy your time with your 2 Princesses, it's going to be a trip to remember!!! :king: ((HUGS))

if they are into the princesses I would suggest 1900 park fare dinner at the Gran Floridian. Its Cinderella themed, with her Prince CHarming, the evil step mother and the step sisters. Another princess favorite of my daughter is the Breakfast at Norway. All the princesses except for CInderella we have seen here. Both are buffet meals so kids can always find something. Chef mickeys is also a hot with my daughter. As far as eating int he castle, we are not fans, yes its cool to eat in the castle but its extremely overpriced for what it is, so we skip eating in the castle but to each their own.

We had dinner in Norway with the Princesses (yes Cinderella was there), but nobody liked the food so we won't be going back. I agree about eating at the castle...cool, but not worth the $$.
