I admire Twilight, but there is no way Disney would acquire the rights to create attractions off of the property. Twilight is about vampires. And there is violence as well as some sexual content. It isn't "wholesome."

"Come on out and celebrate Mickey's Very Merry Abstinence-Allegory Parade!"

Oh, and if you get Steinbeck in the parks, I get to turn ex-Discovery Island into the Moreau residence. :D

No I heard it is happening!!! They are taking the old 20K area and turing it into Wa. where you will climb on the back of some guy with sparkles (cross promo with Tinker Bell pixie dust...you know both fairies or mythological being which ever way you want to look at it :fork:) and he just runs around in the trees till you can't take the bad acting anymore. Then they are going to open a all meat counter service with it!!!!!!

Yakko: Great, vampires at Disney. What could be worse?

Dot: Cheerleaders?

Yakko: I stand corrected. Bring on the fake fangs and black capes!

"Of Mice And Men: The Ride"

Coming soon to a Disney park near you...

(off topic)

That reminds me of a play that I saw starring a friend of the family (who happened to be a performer at the Adventurers Club as well). It was a one man show about a one man show based on War and Peace at a literary classics theme park.

I can only imagine the clones of the Moby D..k log flume at Disney parks around the world...

Be careful for wishing for the Steinbeck attractions....Universal would counter with Hemingway and then all chaos would ensue...

(can you picture the 'Mt. Kilimanjaro' coaster?)

In the England Pavilion?

I can see that!

I say: "Bring it on!"

(but then would they overlay it with the characters from 'Oliver & Co.'?)

And of course, the holiday-themed 'A Christmas Carol' attraction...

Great idea, Nakasak...lol...

"Please, sir, could I ride again?"

"MORE?! HE WANTS MORE?!?!"

:lookaroun

Oliver, Oliver, never before has a boy wanted more!
Oliver, Oliver, won't ask for more when he knows what's in store!

There's a dark, thin, winding, stairway without any banister
The stand-by line, where he'll have to wait with the rest of the tourists!

Oliver, Oliver, what will do when he wastes all that time,
He will curse they day, somebody asked for another ride!
