LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 2006

Subject: TWDC Fantasy Funerals

The Walt Disney World Company is proud to announce the creation of its newest department, Fantasy Funerals. This marks an entry into a new line of business and compliments the Fairytale Weddings Department.

Construction on the Disney Funeral Reception Hall and Crematorium will begin in the fourth quarter of 2006, and the first funerals will begin in mid-2007. Services include package prices for family and friends including airfare, hotel, and tickets to the attractions. The hall will accommodate wakes of up to 600 mourners.

For Guests wishing to become a "permanent" part of the Disney Magic, there are several package options available.

After cremation, guests may choose to be buried under a marker on the "Walk Around the World" walking path that circles the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Our "Pixie-Dust" program will involve Tinker Bell scattering a Guests ashes over the Magic Kingdom during the nightly fireworks display. Or they may choose to have their ashes placed in a fireworks shell to be exploded during Illuminations at Epcot.

For nautical fans, a Guest's ashes can be scattered into the Seven Seas Lagoon or Epcot's lagoon during a special ceremony aboard selected Walt Disney World Watercraft.

Special Cast Member Pricing is available. Get in on the ground floor and book your reservations early.

With Walt Disney World's Fantasy Funerals you can become permanent part of the Magic!

I like the idea..... buried "under the seas"

I just hope my wife doesn't get the instructions wrong and I end up buried in "It's a small world"

Don't worry, it will only feel like an enternity :brick:

Not sure I would want that type of ash falling on my head

I'm sure they've taken measures to ensure people won't be going home with ashes on them.

I wonder where they're going to put the Funeral Reception Hall....

Near Haunted Mansion seems tacky...so I hope it's not there....maybe one of the Epcot resorts...

Don't Catholics go to church on Ash Wednesday and come out with ashes on their foreheads ?

Burned Palms from The previous Palm Sunday.

I like the "Pixie Dust" option. :D

Victoria

Not old, just vintage.
I want to be burried under the Walk Around the World. The marker should say "Victoria (last name) Trip # (however many by then) The Final Fling! RIP"

So my favorite part of that whole thing was that you included Stovall's email... might just have to send a note asking for more details...

I'm hoping my family would take me on a few rides first and then commence with the sprinkling of my ashes. :D I want them to put me in the HM with the other dust.
