Do they know when we are watching? Is there a counter like on a website that says how many people are tuning in at a given period to a certain channel at a certain time?

With radio ratings its a bit different. Arbitron sends out these little diarys, you log everything you listen to for like a week... and mail it back in. Not very high tech :lol:
