I love Italian food so I booked an ADR for dinner at Tutto Italia (Via Napoli was already booked solid) for my upcoming trip in Nov. My DH (not a big Italian food fan) looked at the menu and is questioning the decision. Should I keep it or try to book somewhere different?

It depends on your DH of course, I'm half Italian-American and half Native American, sort of a sioux-cillian but I digress. The food is good at Tutto Italia, I enjoyed it, it's not my Nona's cooking but it isn't Olive Garden either. My grandmother made dessert that is similar to the bulgie, a fried cookie with choclate and apricot spreads, served at Tutto. I would keep it but there are other good restaurants in the area, Biergarten, Rose & Crown, Kouzinna, Yachtsman and Captain's Grille to name a few.

I love Italian food and did not like it there. I wouldn't go back.

I've been twice since June and was underwhelmed by our entree both times. Wife had the seafood dish the first time and it was bland, I had the pasta with sausage and it was just ok. Last trip was fettucine for her and roast chicken with faro risotto- undersauced pasta and my shicken was very dry. Antipasta plate was very good and kid meals were actually better than ours (spagetti/meatball and pasta with cream sauce). We are going to try other restaurants over our next trips.

We ate there last Christmas Eve as part of the candlelight processional and it was fantastic. We have only been there a few times, but we have never had a bad experience. We weren't able to get that same date this year, but we still made an ADR for our December trip. They did an excellent job with my wife's gluten allergy which made the dinner that much better. I hope you enjoy it as much as us!

It is usually our first evening meal. We also enjoy the Grandee Antipasto Misto (salame, olives, artichoke hearts, cheese, basil, bread) to start the meal. It could be a meal by itself. My wife usually orders salmon, which has always been perfectly cooked. I usually play it safe with the lasagna (It's been great once or twice, but always at least good). I'm just not a big dessert fan. The tiramisu is good, but I wouldn't call it great as many people do.

I really enjoy the atmosphere. My wife and I are almost always seated at a table for two, by the windows where we have a great view of people coming and going. Service has always been outstanding, with some great conversation.

It's not over the top fantastic, but it's one of the restaurants we look forward to visiting on each trip.

The food is decent...however, I have felt rushed all 3 of the times I have eaten here. As soon as you order, it seems like the food is out within 5 minutes! Not sure if that is a good or bad thing though...

Thank you for everyone's input. I am going to keep our ADR; I am sure my DH will find something to eat. And if he doesn't like the food, we can swing by Germany so he can get a brat.

IF you are looking for really GOOD Italian food...

Get on the boat at the rear of EPCOT. Go to the Swan, and eat at Il Mulino. An excellent Sig.

Tutto just isn't Alfredo's ... not looking like it ever will be, though Disney promised a SIG. Tutto was SUPPOSED to be temporary.

I miss Alfredo's sooo much!

I've dined there and I loved it. I preferred Via Napoli but not by much, tutto has great food and I don't think you will be disappointed

If you're not tied down to the Dining Plan, go to Tutto Gusto instead. You can still order anything of the Tutto Italia menu but the place is so much nicer and the appetizers there are amazing.

This place is good, but it might not go well with a finicky Italian food diner. We like it, but don't care for the appetizers. I would suggest keeping the ressie.

We've always been sort of underwhelmed by the place, the food isn't bad, just not as good as you'd expect. I'd go again if it was all that available but wouldn't go out of my way for a ressie.

My wife never "liked" Italian food because she always considered spaghetti, lasagna, etc. (Olive Garden) Italian food but absolutely loves Tutto Italia and it is always a first choice for us each visit.

The food and service has always been excelent with the service we have received in the past being almost exceptional when compared to other Disney dining locations.
