Has anyone done Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House? How was it? Do you get to get into Animal Kingdom early? Lots of ducks?

I haven't done it yet, but am planning to in December so will be curious about your replies. I do know that you can get into AK early by showing a cast member your ADR number.

Has anyone done Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House? How was it? Do you get to get into Animal Kingdom early? Lots of ducks?
We did this past April and it was great! We had a reservation for 8:00a.m. and we got the AK just after 7:30a.m. There were people with clip boards while you filed in the main entrance that you gave your name to and they checked you off for the breakfast. From there we went straight to the Tusker House and yes there were ducks! It was neat to be done with Breakfast just as the AK was opening because there wasn't any lines for the rides we wanted to do!

We ate at the Tusker House breakfast last weekend........ YUK!!!!! Yes, you do get into the park early, depending on your resy.... but the food was not good. Compared to the Safari Breakfast of years past, I would go somewhere else. If your main objective is to get into the AK early and get to K. Safari ride, then you should eat there. If your main objective is to get into the park early and get to Exp. Everest... you'll have to run from the rope drop. You are on the opposite side of the park from EE, and everyone from the main entrance will beat you there. There is no comparison between Boma and Tusker House.... the Tusker was really bad.

I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. Donald's Breakfastosaurus was better than the Safari for me, but I'm a traditional guy who likes pancakes, bacon, sausage, omelets, etc. Safari has waffles with bacon, but the other hot items have an African spin. There is enough food on the other cold stations so that I can skip the African flavored foods which I personally didn't care for.

I just ate there, and I enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the little celebration.
