This says they are NOT included! Hope that helps!

8. Smoked Turkey Leg (All theme parks):

If you are in the mood for a substantial, savory snack, then look no further than the nearest turkey leg cart. Each enormous drumstick is smoked to perfection and makes a great snack or small meal. Feeling carnivorous? Tear into one of these as you wander through the Animal Kingdom and get in touch with your wild side. This snack is not included in the Disney Dining Plan.

You use to beable to use a snack credit awhile ago, I think thats changed. But if you play your cards right, you could really have the turkey leg as an actual meal as big as it is. Many times I've accompanied it with a nice tall beer and it fills me up just enough.

The Turkey Leg is a "must have" for anyone over the age of eight, not hooked on corn dogs, french fries, or ice cream ears-on-a-stick. It will last you for an afternoon, just be ready to semi-discreetly discard tendons and ask for plenty of napkins. I found them at several places in A.K., and they were available off-and-on at the carts in M.K. Liberty Sq., and in front of American Exper. @ World Showcase. They should have them at Pirates of the Carib... AAARRGH!!!

You have them as a quick service point but no longer a snack point as you could once do. I agree that they're a must have for everyone at least once! I'm a huge fan!

A turkey leg can easily substitute for a meal! They aren't small.

ITA with the person who suggested many napkins. They are full of bones and things attached to bones. A lot to spit out!

Ew! LOL. True though they are delicious!:) My husband just pays for it instead of using any dining credits.;)

Not sure if it is available in all four parks, but I've seen a Turkey Leg QS meal available at the Studios - a leg, bag of chips and soda for 1 QS credit

Eight? My little family enjoy snacking on the fabled turkey leg (one between the three of us) but when my son (currently aged six) gets his mitts on it, it's impossible to get it back.
HAHAHA Sounds like my 6 year old too! We went to the Renaissance Festival this past July and my 6 year old looked like some rabid dog gnawing on that turkey leg! We were supposed to share, but I didn't see a bite past my first one....ROFL
