Disregarding the nostalgia factor for a moment, if you compare the old spiel on the TTA to the new, current one.......I'd have to say the new one is terrible. The old one was much better. Anyone else with me?

Exactly.Old one easily. The new narrator sounds like a peppy Disney channel announcer.
There are also major factual errors in the new narration For example There are not 4 families who welcome you into their homes. It is 1 family as seen through each decade talking about how things have changed for the better.Old...for some reason the new one sounded like a bunch of jibberish.

It was Walt's idea not mine.So you're saying the more "factual" interpretation of the Carousel of Progress is that we have been watching the exact same family members living for over one hundred years without them aging a day?

If you disregard the nostalgia factor, then what merits are we judging the two different narrations on? The way your question is posed it sounds as if we're supposed to set aside the nostalgia factor for an even older narration in order to declare your nostalgic favorite the "winner."
Setting aside nostalgia equally, I think the new narration is superior to the previous version.
First, it is more cohesive, and it is also more complete. The older narration had been hacked apart and mostly switched off to the point that there was hardly anything left of an actual narration. And no, I don't consider NOW APPROACHING SPACE MOUNTAIN to be the cornerstone of an integral, theme-sustaining piece of narration.
Now, the narration actually describes all of the places you visit in Tomorrowland, something the 1995 version NEVER did, even when it was new.
