TSM Wait Times.

They're pretty bad. When I went the other night, ToT was 20, Star Tours was 5, RnRC was 50...and TSM was 120. Your best bet it to try and FastPass it, I think

My reference is from only 1 visit, but I'll share.

6/15 - 11:00 AM, 40 minute posted time, 60 minute actual, 90 minutes posted by the time I got off the ride. 11:00 FP pick up was for 4:45 return time. FP wait time was about 20 minutes at 4:45. I observed the posted standby above 100 minutes when passing a couple times throughout the day.

Granted, this was at the very start of the summer rush. My suggestion, ride standby only at park opening or within the first hour to see Mr. Potatohead. After that, FP only.

The standby line, while well-themed and as entertaining as possible, is very, very, very slow-moving.

Well, alot of kids will be in school then so the lines may be shorter.

Over the past 2 weeks I have gone to TSM 8 out of 14 days and wait times have varied quite a bit. Lines are shorter on Wednesdays and during the first Fantasmic of the night. Fastpass is always gone by the time I get there 3-5ish. Even during the parade the lines don't seem to go down. I have waited in a posted 60 min and actually waited 40. Then there was the day, a Saturday if you will, wait time was 55 and actual wait time 120. My guess is they need to send more FLIK cards through, but what do I know :ROFLOL:. So really being the summer months these time are dramatically longer than they will be in August when kids go back to school, college, ect... plus the ride only been officially open for about 3 weeks and soft opened for almost a month, and the fact that every time I turn on the radio I hear a TSM ad and the TSM commercial on the Tele is really fun. So it's really popular right now and who knows how long popularity will last, and especially with this ride I see it being a great children's ride for those who are frightened by those two monsters of attractions on Sunset Blvd. I can only imagine what the wait times will be when the American Idle (:zipit:) theater opens...

That was just my $.02,

P.S. I got a new personal High Score the other night, 283,300! Woot!

That's what I thought too when I went there late August last year and it was crowded and we thought the same thing as you.
We are going to DHS the day we arrive and that is probably the only day we will be going to DHS. We aren't arriving at opening so I'm not sure we will be able to get fastpasses. I don't mind waiting in line and I think TSM line will be a good line.

My friend was there the other day in the rain and she waited about 90 minutes during mid-day. Best tips are go when a parade/Fantasmic! is going on. Best if there is only one showing cause then everyone will want to go to those shows.

My boss called me from WDW yesterday morning. She said the day before the wait time was 250 minutes... crazy!

4 hours! I'm not sure that anything is worth waiting in line for 4 hours--not even a new Disney ride:p

I'm hoping that the lines will be much shorter when I arrive in September!! We are planning to do DHS the first day we arrive. Our AirTran flight has been moved to a bit later in the day, so I anticipate arriving around 11a or so. Hopefully there will still be some FPs left!!

In nearly June I remember the wait times being 90 mins - 120 minutes.
We fastpassed the first time we visited. The second time, we queued, posted at 120min, but it wasn't quite as long as that.
The longest wait for the entire holiday, probably an hour longer than the second longest wait..

After the first Fantasmic on June 18th, the wait was 280 minutes! That was an EMH night so they opened fastpass up. We waited 20 minutes for that fastpass.
I took a picture of the wait time June 23rd during morning EMH. It said 10 minutes. I told my husband we had to get a picture of that because no one would believe us.

Just got back from a quick trip over there today, and it went from 90 right before BPB to 120 right after it. Luckily it only took me 25 in the single rider line.

IMO, the ride isn't worth waiting that long for. It's a definite leap in technology since Buzz, but is not a ride worth waiting 2 hours for.
